seriously…in the past 2-3 years its been nonstop crossover after crossover. what is up wit it? im starting to forget whens the last time we had a break from them…its worse in dc land. spring cleaning for dc is like a fucking 3 year event.
People eat them up and they make a lot of money. Heck World War Hulk #5 might take the month.
DC’s claiming it will be over soon, but we’ll see.
yeah, they say this is the final crisis and i believe it… i mean afterall, they’re running out of things to ruin.
you know what i agree with the op. ever since i spent the most money ever on comics when civil war came out (yeah yeah i know its barely over 150 bux but still). it just came to the point to start getting the books in ways im not supposed to. The DC nonsense and the “crisis” of the multiverse is a bit annoying as well. Marvel will always say that “this crossover will be better than the prior crossover and you’ll be surprised at the ending” then the ending will wind up being a :wtf: moment. I didnt bother to read the spoiler of wwh # 5 yet. ill get it tomorrow. I just dont really trust the skrull story.
Am I missing something? The only DC crossover going on right now is the Resurrection of some guy who’s name is really hard to spell in the Bat titles (Robin, Nightwing, and such). Countdown is its own separate title so that doesn’t count.
Marvel had WWH now that’s over. Only Messiah Complex remains. There are a lot of things going on Earth 616 but it seems like a lot of the characters are going in their own directions.
Pretty much every mainstream DCU book has been an unofficial crossover for the past few years, ever since Identity Crisis. They might not have a “Part 3 of 27” on the cover, but they’re all tie-ins with each other.
What’s stupid is how important things often occur in another series. Like when Wally came back, he came back in JLofA, not Flash. Things like that are just lame.
dc has a free for all…everything is a fucking mini series that connects…to well every fucking thing.
GOTTA BUY IT, GOTTA BUY IT, CHINPOKOMON!
dc loves throwing spoilers in your face every week almost. especially in dumb books, such as countdown.
