You should post up a template when you are farther along with getting the first shipment out.
Ok guys I need a final verdict on the weld nuts VS the T bolts I’ll either do the 3 T bolts top and 3 bottom with no change in price or do the weld nuts on the inside for a small price bump. I’m talking with the metal shop now so I need answers asap
dumb question… can you explain the weld nuts? Not really getting what the difference would be? How big of a price change would it be?

But basically, there would be a threaded piece of metal welded underneath the steel panel so that there would be no bolt heads showing on the face of the stick.
I personally would like the weld nuts, but I don’t think my vote counts here, haha.
Ok Weld nuts go on the inside of the case and are hidden from view they would be in the same location as the current T bolts just inside the case. The T bolts are viable like in the pictures and it’s just another hole I would cut so the price would be about the same.
The price bump will be determined soon as I get the quote (he’s working on it now)
I’d like to go with the weld nuts for a cleaner look but if the price is too high I might have to just do the T bolts. Either way I think it looks fine and would hold the case together but for the VSHG look it would be cooler to have them hidden and then you could use T bolts to hold down the plexi, more for the look than anything else.
BTW working with Art on the plexi could open a lot of doors for button layouts but lets not get too crazy just yet lol I still need to work out the details with him first.
After reading the pm I would say add the weld nuts.

Ok last I talked to the guys at the metal shop they where waiting on me to make a decision about the weld nuts. I’m waiting on a phone call now so if he hasn’t already started I’ll have him attach the weld nuts.
