Have you tried using the adhesive after you’ve powder coated it? Or you could try jb weld(assuming it’s not the stuff you’re already using), it’s supposed to withstand 500 degrees. I might like the tbolts through the panel if you can powder coat them black 
Yea I can powder coat them any color really silver looks kinda cool on black but other colors might look better with matching or even contrasting colors ie black on white etc ok seriously I’m loading pics now !

The second color I tested was the AUTO CHARCOAL METALLIC
The lighting is terrible right now so I’ll take more in the day light tomorrow. I’ll also show pics of the frame and maybe the VAS-HJG Elite wooden sides. Let me know what you think about the bolts holding the top down and also the default color. The texture feels almost exactly like the VSHG texture and looks the same as well.

dang it! hmm well i guess i will just have to wait lol. However, I would not mind having those bolts powder coated because you are right, they dont look bad at all.
JB weld didn’t seem to hold up to my pounding tests. I tried applying it after powder coating but decided that it was more work than it was worth to grind down the powder coat and stick them on. It’s either weld or T bolts as far as I’m concerned.

Yeah it’s growing on me now that I’ve had a chance to look at it. Also color matching the bolts is super easy. The bolts pictured are Aluminum but I can get steel too.

I’m not sure what I think about them they definitely don’t look bad, but I think I need to see the whole stick at once. I think it might look better if you go with three on top and three on bottom just like the VSHG.
Also is that auto charcoal sheet to test out a steel bottom plate?
One concern I have is the rounded corners on the steel plate and how that’s going to match up with the wood sides.
I personally like the rounded corners. I’ve definitely had my moments with sharp edges before…

Also, the bolts don’t bother me at all.
I think the T-bolts should match the color of the powder coated steel. The (bare metal)bolts would look good with certain colors but not others.
I agree on that for the llight model, but I guess I should have specified that I meant on the elite model where the metal plate is going to be flush against the side wood panels.
I think the T bolts look fine and can even accentuate the design.
I’m liking this idea because the current placement looks a bit odd to me.
I’ll see how it looks with the added T bolts ie 3 in a row like the original VSHG. It serves a different purpose so the placement is going to be a bit different but has a similar look. One thing I need to be careful of is that it doesn’t get in the way of the cable pass through adapters. I’m also waiting for a quote from the metal shop and if it’s not too crazy I could still add the weld nuts (for a bolt-less look) but it may be reflected in the final price.
Over all I think the T bolts look fine, are very sturdy and easily replaceable (just in case)
For the Elite model’s wooden side panels I want them to fit like this but if in the event I cant pull it off I could always square off the corners for the Elite models (next batch) but I’m pretty sure I can pull it off. I’ll be giving it a couple of test runs today and I’ll post the results for your approval.

Voltech- I appreciate that but was wondering if you recommend having 4 buttons on top where the connector is gonna be coming out seeing as how I’m looking to do a dual mod and I would need a hole for the USB jack of some sort.
BTW- TE 6 buttons not 8. I did state this
