that’s really awesome craftsmanship. what are the dimensions of the mini and are there any shots of the inside?
thanks docteh, dimensions are roughly 11x8.5" for the top. front is 1.75" high and 2" in the back. I think the size is just right, not too big and not too small to make it ackward and hard to play on. I will post pics of the inside when I finish wiring it up which should be done early monday or tuesday.

hey ive got a few questions about the new stick that I just noticed…
…I don’t see a start/select where’d they go? and I don’t see a hole for where the plug comes out form the back either.
im sure its just an oversight cuz its in the prototype stage… but thats pretty big
Phew, if you hadn’t pointed that out all the sticks would have been sent out without S/S buttons and cords.
LOL rest assured I didnt forget that, I just didnt decide to use sanwa buttons for the start and select. The stick has a deal pending so when I wire it all up tomorrow it will have start and select buttons on the back of the stick 
LOL I would never make a mistake like that, its too much of an oversight as you said. even if i had to cut 2 holes in it for sanwa buttons on the back the tooling i have made/designed makes it quite easy without even touching the finish

Was curious about the custom art : You wouldnt have a template I can DL to lay out my art would you ??? And are you using the same sanwa parts for are your sticks ??? Im very interested. Thanks
Up until now, I was hoping to make more custom a la carte sticks so it would be hard to make a standard template with dimensions possibly changing at any time. But with the success of the sanwa mini I may just continue to make these as a standard model with standard dimensions so I will have a template for these. I will also be making a Happ mini too which may be slightly deeper to accomodate the bigger Happ parts but make it as compact as possible. Maybe, just possibly there will be a fanta/crown “korean bbq” mini too, I gotta talk to Laugh to get some parts in the future to see what is possible.
for the prototypes, I was using parts I had leftover with just happened to be orange but if someone wanted say a blue balltop and yellow buttons it would be possible as an example its just not strictly orange I just happen to like them.

I ran into a serious problem last night, lightning struck a concrete wall behind my house which in turn allowed the electricity to run through the cable tv coax and fried my cable modem, router and sadly my computer. Communication will be slightly slow for the next couple days for those who are in touch with me. I should have an old backup computer and my internet back up and running by thursday I hope

How do they sound? Are they louder with the clicks because of the metal case?
Otherwise, looks pretty good, w/plenty of room to put some nice art on top.
