I’ll post pics of mine when he’s done with it.
I really love the looks of those sticks. I am looking into purchasing an arcade stick. I am seriously considering a custom stick but i am not a tournament player. I was wondering if maybe a simple market stick might be enough. I dont play in tournaments do tot he lack of them in my area/lack of time. But fighters is my favorite genre of video games, and somprise 80-90 percent of my current collection. So i guess what i am asking is what do you think? Custom stick, or maybe something like the X-Arcade. Not trying to hi-jack the post, just figured you would all be the people to ask considering your ecperience in building and use of arcade sticks. dont even have to post just send me a private forum message. Hopefully i can glean enough information to help me make an educated decision. And if that decision is a custom stick, Finkle, i will definetly be sending you my buisness.
i would say give finkle some business and get something with american parts
just in case you feel like walking into an arcade you already can get shit done on the controls they have
Sounds like a good idea. If by some fluke of nature i get the time and find i have the skill i can always upgrade later if i feel it’s needed. thanks for the advice.
Kore and ragnafrak: Thanks for the props, Happ parts arent a problem if you do choose to get a stick. If/when you decide that you want one or have any questions just drop me a pm, email or leave a message here and we’ll figure something out.
cool sticks
Do you make any non-lollypoppers?
sure thats not a problem, you could have a Happ or get a sanwa with a bat top (few bucks more).
N
You can fit a bat top on, or a Happ joystick can be installed. Minimum height of the box goes up with the latter option, though.
Hey can you hook it up with a pic of your mini design? I need to wait a week or two but I think I might make an order with you.
My replacement camera is coming tomorrow so I will have some pics of the mini sometime tomorrow evening
Awesome. I’ve been anticipating those for some time now!
I have included some pictures of the mini version, its kinda dark out right now but it gives a good idea of how much smaller it is from the previous design. The sides are a cherry finish, typical sanwa parts and all that good stuff. when the weather gets better tomorrow I will take some more outdoor shots.
enjoy

Hot damn, that stick fucking smokes! Nice work, man! I have got to save up some cash and buy one of these!
Heh, hope you stick around, though, because I’m strapped for money at the moment.
So… any Estimates on how much the mini’s gunna cost?
No worries, I plan to “stick” around for a while bah doom ching LOL… ok enough dry ass jokes lol. Glad you like it, that’s the most important thing of all and thanks for the praise.
As far as the price goes I’m working on a price for the mini, although its smaller, there’s more fine detail and work to make the mini so I need to price it accordingly. it wont be sky high but expect an increase here and there nothing too shocking though. I try my best not to make money from the raw materials as I didnt make them with my bare hands but the stick on the other hand I do put alot of time and effort into so thats where most of my cost gets included. we’re NOT talking 200 or up for a complete stick unless it was some crazy exotic job.I try to keep the cost down and not sacrifice quality as thats where I want to shine and stand out. I figure the more someone wants the more something is going to cost but I try to pack alot into a reasonable price. I’m working it out though
I hope you guys and gals like it, thats all thats important to me. It makes the hard work pay off for sure.
