In all honesty, I feel a little bad that GG:AC and VF5 got cut since they are both really indepth and really great games. In many ways I’ll admit that they are better then CvS2, but popularity rules. I also realize that last year that had 8 games instead of 6.
Alex is too good on those cards…undefeated & flash chop are the best…
I’ve been trying to get all the characters for brawl…maybe I’ll have them unlocked by the end of the week…
Hey Fabian, if you really want to unlock all the characters you can just play one stock games against the computer and suicide. You’ll build up brawls but your records will be a little faulty (if you care).
There’s 3 ways to unlock:
- Have x character join your party.
- Play x number of Brawls.
- Some special bullshit condition.
I recommend just suiciding… I didn’t suicide, I just kept whooping up on computers in 1 stock battles, though.

I dont think I’m going unless I feel I can consistently beat everyone in dallas this summer. and there isn’t a very good chance of that.

I don’t know how they can have qualifiers. God knows when ST:HD is coming out… Last year they had Evo South around this time during spring break, the same weekend as FRX.

Yeah, I like the qualifying tournaments. Gives you two chances at pools in EVO World and a shot at prize money. Why would you NOT want more opportunities?
I like it where everything is done at Evo, you have to work for it and play against everyone, not just the same people that you usually play and beat. I mean, if there was an Evo South, you already know people that have a great chance at qualifying. Plus all those qualifiers get lucky that Japs didn’t show up to every qualifier and take their place instead whereas at Evo everyone that didn’t qualify has to get owned by Nuki/Tokido/RX…
Wasn’t there some problems to at Evo where everything was Single Elimination? You couldn’t fuck up at all or you’re done
Also, some people who would/should/could qualify might not be able to make it to qualifiers due to work/family/distance but can attend Evo.
Plus, I like it old school where there wasn’t any qualifiers at all. I’m old school!!!

They are going to have to meet the Japanese player anyways, assuming the Japanese player makes it past pools (which is easy as hell, most of the time).
If the Japanese player doesn’t make it out of pools, then why assume he would’ve taken the qualifier?
There are probably even more people that can attend their regional qualifier than driving to Vegas… If you’ve ever been to EVO their biggest issue in making things single elimination, etc is because THEY RUN OUT OF FUCKING TIME… They always rush shit at EVO cause there’s so much shit to do. Having qualifiers saves time.
I know I know. Its just its hard for me to explain and I’m not up to doing the explaining.
