There are TONS of people that play nearly EVERY game in lubbock… Hahaha… You think I’m already full of shit… See the problem for me is that 99.999999999999% of them don’t play competitively. Hell I had 42 people at my Soul Calibur 2 tournament, problem is they’re all scrubs… Our head count isn’t what’s wrong, it’s how many people wanna play competitively in the first place… I say use all the scrubs and people that don’t wanna get competitive to boost the total amount of pot that is in the tournament. Also, by putting these scrubs in tournaments all the time, of course some of them will take the jump into the competitive scene. I can’t say that I know many people that play guilty gear (I know like 4 or so) but I do know PLENTY of people that STILL play Tekken, Soul Calibur 3, and I know too many people that play Smash =/. Blah, I oughtta host a tournament again sometime, this time I’ll have more than one game… That’ll be a scary tournament. I never got any of the pizza at my own tournament… Fucking gay… Whoops! My ramen noodles are done, 5 minutes already?!

Yeah we know people will play for jokes and laughs but shit nobody wants to play competively. They’ll try but then quit when they lose. The people in Lubbock doesn’t know how to think on their own(meaning the ones that are novices). I know theres alot of people that play smash but all you see and hear is Ryan and Roy. I don’t think people in Lubbock even know how to play smash competively, except for the 2 mentioned, but I haven’t seen other lubbock players play anyhow so I could be wrong.

Tilt is gone!? Sad. The arcade I grew up since I was around 4 is now gone. Truly terrible. Well like you said all we got is just one another unless shatter comes up with something. And c’mon Mario Kart is fun. The gathering sounds like the better idea instead of a tourney.
I think Dark Man X is pretty pissed he saw me at a Smash tournment 
. I would love to play more 3S, or Guilty Gear, but the reason I played in that tournment is because Smash seems to have the most people. I think I may actually be better at Smash then 3S, but I just play what is popular. I say our best option is to get people to play Guilty Gear because it’s 2D and flashly, more people are willing to learn. Don’t know about Ryan’s arguement over Tekken though.

It was only the best one we had but overall it was decent cuz sometimes the machines will break down or sticks are f’d up. I wonder if its at Brunswick Bowling Alley. Tilt had machines at the bowling alley so I wonder if its there now. If not then Copper is the only one you can call an arcade but the newest thing they have is either DDR Extreme or SC2. Its not worth going.
