Hell yeah. They pick Brawl because it’s more popular =(. I got a challenge from some guy talking a lot of shit in SC4, though. Hopefully I can get him to bet money, lol.

2nd gets a MGC shirt, which I like, but the first MGC shirt I got was better than this second one.

As far as popularity and money spent, it’s a good tournament.

It isn’t the most orthodox of rules, though. The ones that got me are:

  1. You can only enter one game per tournament. So you can’t enter GH3 if you enter Brawl.
  2. If you win you can’t win another tournament.
  3. Single Elimination.
  4. Any stages allowed on Brawl.
  5. 4 stocks.

EDIT: This is exactly what the setup was like in Lubbock on Saturday.

no arcades for fighters…if you want redemption/other games, we got copper caboose and main event. Closest thing you’ll get is gatherings…BTW, when school lightens a bit, we should get some games in…

Gah that sucks, though I guess that’s whats to be expected. Houston is still pretty lucky compared to the rest of the cities in the whole US.

I swear I’ve never been as soaked in clothes as I was today walking back to my hall.

Anyways, SOMEONE (not me, I don’t even have my PS2 :shake:) needs to set up some 2D fighter get togethers… Seriously I swear there are like no other nerds on campus :rofl:
