You know you don’t have to post up ALL the good stuff on eBay right?

I lucked out and got one of those random select Wicos btw.

just trying to share the love =) i mean i could have bought them all and marked them up and resold, but just trying to help others =)

i found one for 34 bucks in one of the links above, thanks bros

@nicrocks BUY MORE!!!

BUY THEM BEFORE @ECZANGIEF !!! jk there is 8 more up

i posted this on the mvc2 fb group hopefully that gets em going

80 is steep, even for those of us who are recession proof.

Doesn’t say if they are wico or happ though, or if they are happ if they are old happ or new happ. Not enough info for the price IMHO.

thought these were the real OG wico360s…

Those are the “OG” wico 360’s. From what I understand those are the first wico 360’s when perfect 360 controls was it’s own company and made that bottom adaptor portion to replace the leaf switches in the wico 8-way leafswitch joystick. Those are more rare it seems like than the other varieties of the p360. The ones that most people use now are the all in one version that wico made when they came to a agreement or bought out the perfect 360 controls company. I believe the modern all in one style wico p360 came out in the the late '90’s, like 1999 or maybe earlier.

Yeah, from what I understand, there’s a few distinct models:

  1. “Red bottoms” - the one featured in that pic that SNAAAAKE posted. Red sticker bottoms, and I think there were purchaseable separate adapters to convert old wico switch sticks to P360. Very rare and sought after.

  2. “WICO P360” - these LOOK very similar to the ones we see today, though in big letters it says WICO 360 on the plastic. The PCB also has “WICO 360” printed on it. This design is the most common design, and this revision is highly sought after. I believe the quality of the plastics were the shit, which is why it stayed smooth throughout its lifetime.

  3. “Blank Bottom” - The design also looks exactly the same as the “WICO P360” version and is functionally the same inside and out - though the “WICO” print on the very bottom has been removed. Again, these are very highly sought after and they’re basically exactly the same as #2, though no WICO print. I actually own a couple of these, I wish I owned more. The interesting thing about this model and the model before: If I recall correctly, these were super popular in the PS2/DC days, and these P360s were actually friendly with the 3.3v that the PS2 put out, making them work.

  4. “HAPP P360” - the newer version. Some of these I’ve seen with the HAPP QA sticker on the bottom, some without. There were a few issues I noticed with these versions. 1. These started to grind after usage - specifically the pressure plate and PCB housing is where I see grinding on mine. Some silicone lube has helped to mitigate this. 2. There are some variations where the screws are slightly different - black screws in older version vs silver screws. No big deal. 3. SOME of these have PCB revisions that are different that say “HAPP P360” instead of “WICO 360” on the PCB itself. They look identical, except on the +5v line, the diode (or whatever the hell it is) located at Q1 on the PCB is different - they switched from the retangular diode and used a tube shaped one. 4. Based on #3, I think this is why there were issues with these P360s and PS2s since they had a lot of trouble with 3.3v and they seemed to miss directions a lot. I believe this is the case since when I played on DC I didn’t have as much of an issue as when I played with 3.3v PS2. I even researched ways to boost the 3.3v or take the 9v line and reduce it to 5v.

Not sure how valid my findings are, but these are just things I’ve noticed as I’ve used them. Not speaking as absolute truth but figure it could help people out.

seems about right.

I am posting this here because it seems like the most robust place for this question. Does anyone have a metal sleeve for a happ 360 (it’s the shorter one for mounting in metal cabs) Most people use the longer one for wood cabs.

see this PDF (it’s the little ring labeled 95-2470-00 Metal sleeve .156” (5/32”) for metal panel)

I just need 1 but I could use two for a different project too

Thanks!!!

goddamn. I bought 3 of brucearcades old p360s and one of the new happ p360s. One of the old ones is good. One was a dud, the diagonals were way too small, and the other one, the diodes are not “centered”. That is, left registers really close to neutral so that causes problems with accidental motions. And the new happ one for some reason just doesn’t work on the Left and Right terminals, even though the Up and Down terminals work

Anyway, I’m still looking for a GOOD p360, one that hopefully works as it’s supposed to, preferably a WICO.

And sethiano, I got what you need, check your PM

Leds should be eZ to adjust just use needle nose pliers if they stick up.

Mass Pro Arcade Stick with EMS Adapter

Found while waiting in line at SDCC!!!

Hmm interesting thanks for that post XMetal.

I bought one of his p360s too but im open to acquiring another one esp if its a wico
