I am currently looking for an Snes or Sega Genesis stick. Looking for Hori Fightstick Multi or Snes or C&L KBM Championship.
I am not set on those sticks totally. If anyone has a MC Cthlulu (spelling). To be honest If I can’t find anything. I will have Vicko Mod either a Sega Pad Hack or MC Cthlulu.
Still has the box, that’s pretty rare, and the price ain’t that bad.
I’ve been looking at it. Its just not a great deal though. I have a HRAP1 that I bought. I think I may just send it to Vicko and mod for SNES support from Cthlulu. Anyone out there with a stick or more information leading to one drop it in the post.
Agreed its not a “great” deal, but dude isn’t over charging either for it. The price is pretty much condition accurate.
Yep give @Vicko your $$$, you won’t be disappointed, he’s doing god’s work.
What about this gadget sir? ( Just another option )

Whats the lag input? I can’t find it on the store is it discontinued.
I just realized. I want this stick Primarily for Sega genesis. I can’t find any high quality Sega Genesis sticks. I was going to use a Raphnet Snes to Genesis converter. I do have Snes (retro king) but I need it to wired connection.
That thing is dope. I can’t find it for sale on the site ebay only. If only it was wired.
Quality genesis fight sticks don’t exist. There was/is a Hori 6-button for the genesis but they are few and far between and when I have seen them come up for sale, they are over $100 including shipping from Asia. I built my own genny fight stick, using a Mayflash case, Sanwa parts, and pulling the PCB out of a stock Genesis 6-button stick. This might be helpful to you:
The Sanwa JLF fits onto the stock Mayflash mounting, with very minor modification to the JLF mounting area. There’s plenty of info out there on making a JLF work in a Mayflash case (youtube, general web instructables). I went a different direction, with a JLW that I had laying around and due to my impatience to complete the project, but that was a lot more work than making a JLF fit.
Hope this helps, and I feel your pain on finding a solid stick for the Genesis. I was in that same position before committing to dedicate the effort to build something I would be happy with.
Trust me anything helps in this department. I just bought this stick last week: http://www.ebay.ie/itm/HORI-Dual-Heavy-Weight-Fighting-Stick-Sega-Genesis-Super-Nintendo-SNES/281887474685. The build quality of this stick is good. The weight of this little guy is excellent. The push buttons are hori but they have good feel and actuation. The stick itself is garbo though. Not microswitch but I’m not really complaining. I bought this stick for $45 bucks so I’m not complaining though. I don’t know what it would entail to mod the stick and the buttons and stick. (stick really the pushbuttons are good to me)
I have a HRAP Amazon edition. I still might send it to Vicko at the end of the day. And yes man Its a shame that the Genesis has crappy sticks for a Shump heavy system that would truly benefit from quality sticks.
As for the mod of the mayflash. I’m just a big wuss when It comes to that. I would need to learn more hands on with actual 1 for 1 instruction then I would be good. I just dont feel comfy with reading a Tutorial or videos. (maybe I need to jump out there and try though) I do see that what you did and man that looks perfect. I may need to send you the goods and you make one for me
I have the C&L KBM Championship SNES stick that you’re looking for in pretty good condition. It’s missing the rubber feet at the bottom because I had to resolder the connection to one of the buttons. Everything is stock if you’re still interested.
Doesn’t the MC Cthulhu support both SNES and genesis? I’d go that route.
Especially with the revised one coming from @“Jasen Hicks” , it’s looking like the best bang for the buck route to build a stick with one of these or drop one in a older MadCatz or Hori stick.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/182351431508 …or check your local garage sales, GW’s, & CL’s for one of these =)
Cthulhu supports SNES but not Genesis. No current encoders support genesis, due to its use of multi-plexing or some such. If anyone out there is aware of a custom stick PCB that supports Genesis, please post up.
Momo666 How much you asking? And MC Cthulhu is good for SNes but not Genesis.
Damn too many sticks, almost forgot the C&L Control boys also made a Sega variant.

Nothing on the eBays or CL right now, but you might wanna make a saved search alert for one of these, in the event one comes to market. Especially if your hearts set on playing on Sega Genesis.
