I’m interested in trying a Seimitsu joystick out. I’ve used fightsticks for some years now but only recently tried something outside of a JLF, the Hori Hayabusa. Low and behold I think I actually prefer the FEEL of the Hayabusa in general, yet there’s something screwing with my execution a bit. I thought it might be good to experiment with a Seimitsu to see how it feels. I don’t know exactly which sticks will straight mount in the RAP4, but I’d like that if possible. From what I’ve been reading I probably want the LS-32, anyway.
Not sure how much I’ll like it and basically just wanna try one, so even one with heavy use for dirt cheap would be great for me.
I can’t put my finger on what it is that I enjoy about the Hayabusa in comparison to the JLF. I did put a slightly stiffer spring in it, but it was also a used stick and I’m not sure how worn the original was. Something about the general movement, maybe the feel of the switches, something feels more natural to me… but then something else is off. I just wanna try Seimitsu to make sure there’s not something I like better about that too. I also like that the switches are invidually replaceable and not mounted on a circuit board.
