i was gonna make a new thread but seeing as this seems to be the hub for info on the flash1 and ascii clone i figured i’d just ask here.
i’m sure many of you have seen this video or the info in this video before [media=youtube]ILkn4xSQ4mc&feature=related[/media] it just tells you how the deadzone and the 8 directions are divided within the different gates you can use for the jlf
i wanted to know if anyone could direct me to what that would look like for the flash and/or the ascii clone? i’m hoping on the octogate it’s like a perfectly cut pizza, except with the deadzone in the middle of course.

IM glad u got ur optical joystick. I will try to help u 100% with ur questions. Also please remember optical doesnt fit jlf base and u have to use the plastic and cushtion rings all time.

Huge thanks for Toodles for making the trade (for a SSVS MVS Cart, cost me a pretty penny). Paid about 20$ over what the last one sold for ~ IMO it was worth it.
I haven’t been able to play on it yet, as I haven’t thrown it on a stick (have to wait till my custom case is done in the coming weeks.)
Thank you everyone for your support, and I hope a few more start popping up, so that more people can get their hands on this greatness. I will post my impressions in a couple of weeks, but yeah optical ftw! :tup:

Thanks a bunch Ketchy Kech! I’m still rooting for beastSPL here. I mean, all the man wants is an optical joystick and he deserves one! He’s had more than 3 rugs pulled out beneath him, not just for Sanwa FLASH 1’s but for ASCII Opticals too. Help the man out people! 
Got an optical, not going anywhere though. Sits on a shelf for the day I come across a stick that I feel like putting it in.
