So, I bought a 360 VLX off eBay to replace my old one and basically got half ripped off because the “barely used” condition turned about to be a lie; dude was obviously a smoker with a house filled with roaches and did not give a shit about taking care of things.
I am primarily looking for a replacement top face plate/art panel. The metal plate itself is fine, I just need the red art part. I know some people removed these for custom art, so I’m hoping someone has a one they’re willing to part with.
Additionally, if anyone has the side and bottom foam packing inserts, I’d be willing to buy those too (again, the seller said they had the original box, which I assumed meant they also had the original inserts; NOPE ).
Prices are negotiable, but this what I’m currently willing to offer:
Face plate without metal panel: $50-ish
Face plate with metal panel: $80-ish.
Packing inserts: $20~30-ish? ( it feels weird having to buy foam ).
In the mean time, I may try some Novus no 2 on this panel, but this thing’s pretty well toasted.
I would contact the seller on Ebay and try to sort something out, worst case scenario you could open a dispute.

Nah. It’s either I return it or deal with it and for now I’ll just deal with it ( especially since the seller hasn’t responded to me ). It’s either that or I don’t have a 360 stick for the time being. It’s usable. It just affects my OCD something fierce.
Maybe you should post up the sellers name so we can avoid them

i know it’s not what you asked for but i thought worth mentioning. i have a BRAND NEW, flawless, metal panel from the black ps4 vlx. still populated with the original buttons and joystick. i think the wiring harness is still attached. i pulled it off and boxed it right away. only needed the body. if you’re interested, send me an offer. i can also take everything off and sell just the panel itself.

Damn i just got done throwing away my diamond vlx box and inserts. Didn’t think anyone would every buy foam 
i never thought of posted a WTB myself. i’m also in need of a set of foam inserts and always looking for better condition boxes. some people just like to have complete sets or keep for collecting purposes.
I have a pair of foam inserts, box was destroyed but foams are mint.
I can’t be charging for them, buy a stick from my sales thread and I will throw them in.
