What I try to say it’s that it might be a very limit run and if we don’t act fast those that have the way of buying it will do and it will run out. Now after I read it again it makes it seen that I’m upset that you getting 4 and that’s not true. I can care less about how many you are buying,that’s your decision.If I had the connection.I would do the same myself.
The thing that makes it bad is its a amazon.jp exclusive. They have contract with them so they are the only retailer if it was just a hori.jp stick there would be a good chance of them being release state side. So unfortunately the best you can do is going through a third party company or person. I only say this because this how its been for last 8 years or so for amazon.jp exclusive hori sticks.
Maybe we can hope for a modified version all white or something
Thanks for the info. I’m afraid the only way to get it will be paid a lot money by Ebay. Since I have seen a lot of Hori Special Editions selling for 350 and up.So imagine a VLX , 700-900 that’s crazy.

So I sent a e-mail off to Hori about the stick. I mentioned in the e-mail that quite a few people on here would love the chance to buy this stick, I also asked them if they plan to release this to the Hori U.S. website. Lets see where this goes…

In regards, the VLX Diamond Edition is Amazon Japan exclusive product and we do not have any plans for a US release at this time.
However, release of similar items is always a possibility.

That’s weird because after I registered with them, I sent an email inquiry regarding will they charge me up front or not since Amazon Japan won’t charge them until it’s shipped. They said they have to charge me upfront so they can pre-order it which is understandable. However, they didn’t mention not being able to ship over here due to it having a battery.
They just e-mailed me back and said that if it doesn’t have a battery they can do ems. So they should be able to because wired fightsticks don’t have li-ion batteries

I have no idea really, this is the first time I have ever used a service like this but I am guessing when it is all said and done with shipping probably $600 or a little bit more…I hope it is less though…but I have a feeling if I waited until one appeared on ebay or a import trader site it will be even more money than what I am paying, IMO this is going to be one of the most sought after and desirable sticks we have ever seen.

well I confirmed the order with Tenso, I chose to go with the option of having them buy it for me (which probably costs me a little bit more in service fees and you have to use paypal) The reason I chose to have them do it is because I don’t have any experience buying on a foreign site like amazon.jp and I didn’t want to screw anything up in the ordering process, to go this route for anyone wondering it costs 34,501 yen which is equivlent to about $440.00 and they do charge you upfront (right away) and then you have to pay the shipping fees and any other fees on top of that in july when they actually get the stick in their warehouse, so yes it is going to cost anywhere between $600-$750 dollars total when it reaches me.Just thought I would give everbody a heads up on how it works and how much it will actually cost…it is not for the faint of heart, lol
