If you’re absolutely certain the kitty still works on both 360 and PS3 and have no problem waiting until this coming Friday, I’ll take it off of your hands. I had read that after the last few firmware updates that it didn’t work on the PS3 anymore, though… Can you confirm or deny that?
The VLX Kitty was tested working a week ago by Gummo.
The VLX Kitty was tested To be in full working order a week ago by Gummo. From what I understand, the last few firmware updates have caused 3rd party PCB’s to not work with disc based and downloaded PS2 games on PS3. As long as your Playing PS3 & Xbox360 games, you should be good to go. I have a couple of Kitty PCB’s so if your still interested Friday let me know… Cheers!
Alrighty, that will work for me since I don’t play any PS2 games on the PS3. If you don’t mind, go ahead and put my name on one and I’ll pay you this coming Friday (12/6).
Toodle PCBs will still work on those PS2 titles if you put the PCB in VSHG mode.
there also the trick of starting the game with a Sony Dual Shock 3 or Six axis, and once the game starts switching to the stick you want to use (mainly your VLX).
The link in the original instructions doesn’t work, but the link in that post works. It will take some finaggling, because it didn’t work the first time I did it. The firmware comes with instructions that are pretty self-explanatory. Just keep in mind, if you don’t see a DOS prompt come up for about 15-30 seconds, then it didn’t work correctly.
