Miz/Cena was WWE good. The match seemed longer than the other matches which helped it a lot. WTF was that front flip move that Cena did? I think I could stand Cena’s wrestling a bit more if he’d stop doing that whole flying shoulder block sequence. It aggravates me to no end.
I think R-Truth/Edge wasn’t bad either even though it was really quick. Had it been a PPV length match, I think it could have been pretty decent.
I wonder how Ted jr. feels about Alberto pretty much taking his gimmick and doing more with it in one night than he’s done since Legacy ended? I like Ted but he may want to take some notes on how to be a snob heel from Del Rio.

TNA needs to learn that these appearance-based contracts just don’t work. The bookers don’t know how to pace the appearances so you get the shit that you’re seeing now. TNA having four faces in the semifinals of their “tournament” is just stupid. I’m not huge into the idea that every match has to have a face and heel but come on, four faces. That’s just dumb. Well, the whole tournament’s dumb.
Looking at how RAW went down, the decision for a 6 pack challenge is going to be really interesting, as much as I love Barrett, I think having him in a 1-on-1 match with Sheamus won’t make either of them look good.
Obviously the 5 participants in the match can help Barrett look good. Every match I’ve seen Barrett in with big name players, he’s looked solid so I think giving Barrett the chance to be in this match will help push Barrett’s work, and also, if the title is pulled off of Sheamus, it won’t make Sheamus look weak if say Jericho/Cena/Edge/Orton got pinned, and it won’t push Barrett back.
Of course I’m willing to bet that at NoC, Miz will lose the US Title, then cash in MITB after the 6-pack. I want to call Cena pinning Jericho, then Miz coming out to cash in MiTB.
And to Serena being released – What? Did Johnny Ace think she wasn’t pretty enough for Playboy?
Hell yeah. Chris Hero vs. Hidaka was awesome. I felt really bad though for Gabe since the crowd at E2 compared to E1 was so abysmal. But luckily he found a really good place called Ace Arena in Jersey that is basically built for indy venues. The guy who owns it basically built it with his bare hands in with the idea of hosting solely wrestling events. iirc it fits about 200-250 people which is perfect for a growing fed like EVOVLE. I’m really excited for Evolve 4-6 since they all have Bryan main eventing.
So the six-pack challenge is a 6-way match? I was thinking it was a six match gauntlet that Sheamus had to run. Haha… I guess the six-way match makes more sense.
I know it’s going to happen, but I don’t like the idea of putting a title, even the US title, on Danielson so soon. I wish WWE would take their time and build stuff up slower. As it is now, everything moves way too fast.
As for Serena getting cut, that seems pretty random. Seems like there’s more to the story than has been let out.

Every time they have their massive beatdown/faction war battle the Impact Zone crowd chants “this is awesome” and we have 4 more months of beatdowns. It’s fucking Groundhog’s Day in this bitch.
For real. That match was superb but the crowd was most definitely lacking. The commentary mentioned something about the weather but I will do more research as to why there was such a tiny crowd. I avoided spoilers for the most part cause I like to go in blind when watching these events. More fun that way.
One thing that annoyed me is that a lot of the matches seem… spotty. Like, they are doing spots for the sake of just doing them. Don’t get me wrong, it is really fun to watch but I wish there was more ring psychology involved. Regardless, both shows were great and can’t wait to watch EVOLVE 3 later this week.

There was just one logical solution to this whole issue: HAVE RVD DROP THE BELT! Why waste time with this whole stupid “backstage attack/OMG TONS OF STITCHES” crap? What, did RVD throw a hissy fit and did not want to look weak or something? It’s almost as if TNA wants to complicate things on purpose. They seem fascinated with tournaments that are, in theory, pretty short, but extend itself as long as fuck.

We all know The Miz is going to be pushed to bigger and better things, and the US Title seems more like a pretty ornament on him than anything else.
