I’m happy for Cody. Vince & co. refuse to let him grow as a character and a performer, not to mention they were quick to kill any and all momentum Cody would gain just by being over. Those feuds with Sandow/Rey/Orton were gold. Not to mention that Cody could’ve been a dope WHC on Smackdown post-“undashing” gimmick. Thankfully, he and Goldust gave us that awesome feud with the Shield.
Yeah. She’s been on NXT a couple times. Not even 21 yet with tons of potential.
Sucks about Cody, but it’s for the best. He should definitely try Japan… he loves playing characters and that could get over pretty quickly over there.
Goldust is pushing 50, I figure this current thing with R-Truth is his last significant storyline.
It is their fault they failed, not the wrestlers. In the same way it is the WWE’s fault that Cody and Sandow aren’t bigger. They mismanage shit all the time and then blame the people who are beholden to scripts they have little input on.
There goes all my hope to see Cody come back as Cody in current wwe.
What a waste of potential, guy was legit 100% into whatever role he got.
Hope he does great wherever he goes from here.
On a slightly funnier note, EnC finale was ballers. Loved it, hopefully they get a season 2.
So glad to see them get Q on show. The new day stuff was hilarious too, Big E’s face xD
How many amazing talents is it now that the WWE has wasted? I remember about several years ago that I listed Ziggler, Barrett, Big E, Cody Rhodes, Sandow, and Zack Ryder as all being excellent, can’t miss wrestlers.
Rhodes, Sandow, and Barrett are gone now, Ryder will never get a chance, and Ziggler has been the victim of horrendous 50/50 booking and dreadful storylines so often that fans are tired of him.
Only Big E is still in a decent position, and only because he, Kofi, and Woods improbably turned an awful gimmick into a great one. Like, he got over in spite of the most earnest efforts of WWE booking.
Even so, the chances that he will ever get the singles run he deserves is very low.
