I dont like pits. My mom had a pit mix when I was a kid. We got him when he was 3 months old. We treated him great, just like a family memeber. One day, when he was about 4, me and my best friend were sitting in the back yard playing. That dog walked over to my friend and bit him in the face for no fuckin’ reason. 2 weeks later me and my family were out back having a bbq. My moms best friend was over there and she was sitting down at the table in the back yard and the dog was laying between her and my mom. Next thing we all knew he got up and bit my moms friend on the tit. Several months after that none of us could go out in the back yard anymore. We had to call animal controll to come get him and put him down.
Thats the only dog we (me and my family) have ever had that aggresivly bit someone.
Pit-bulls are just defensive, aggressive breeds of dogs, simple as that.
I’m sure there are plenty of good and bad cases.
Every pit I’ve been around was good, never had any problems.
While I don’t think they should all be euthanized, I think that breeders should seriously consider the people they sell to and the owners should be more responsible as to where the dog comes from.
Take the dog in for some temperament tests, are these required for pits? IMO They should be for all aggressive breeds, just like shots and shit are usually required for all dogs.

If ripping apart a baby isn’t evil I don’t know what is. But I do agree with the part about putting the mom and dog down. But the reality is she’ll probably be pregnant in the next year while her drug addiction gets worse.
How does the dog attacking the kid because it mistook something innocent as provocation make it ok? For me that’s even more of a reason to michael vick them. Not only will they attack you if you are aggressive towards them but also because it’s such a dumb breed it mistakes anything as provocation.
I know this place is stupid as fuck, but here’s something that a lot of dogs do: many dogs get jealous of new born babies. Cesar Milan has shown examples of this with grown children (the dog is very aggressive towards children, but not the mother), Madonna had a dog of which she got rid of because it kept snapping at the baby. What do these have in common? Shitty owners.
Neither of the examples above featured a pit bull. It might as well have been an Akita ( which is incredibly protective of owners, and if not socialized well, will be very aggresive towards people), as well as Shih Tzu were originally bred to walk around chinese palaces, be cute and eat face. Fuck, there are a shitload of breeds that require a lot of socialization that are 100 times more dangerous than a pit bull. Good example of this is a beautiful black German shepherd that one of my neighbors has: dog is NEVER walked. That thing is one ball of fury waiting to eat somebody. But once again, SRK is on the level of gamefaqs when it comes to using its head for more than an asshole plug. So retards away about how the pit bull is more dangerous and ignore the rest of the crazy dog breeds that are worse but just happen to be less popular.
I’m a work for USPS, so I have TONS of experience with dogs…and let me tell you guys that the three worst dog breeds I deal with day to day are pits, german shepherds, and mini dobermans. And out of those three, only the pit bulls I randomly encounter actually look and sound like they straight up want to fucking kill me. No matter what anyone says, they are THE most aggressive dog breed out there that I see, whether that be from owners or whatever. Not saying all are bad I do have two or three that are friendly, but the other 10 or so are deadly.
The American Pit Bull Terrier is simply the victim of too many idiots who don’t know how to take care of dogs.
When 101 Dalmations originally came out, these dogs were the “it” breed, and guess what happened?
Dog pounds were flooded with these dogs because they were too many idiots who weren’t capable of properly training a dog that is just an aggressive breed.
Society would be screwed if american pit bull terrier’s were banned. Would you rather the american pit bull terrier(50-70 pound average), or another dog like a rottweiler (70-90 pound average) be the “it” breed. Or hot diggity dog, or how about the bull mastiff (110-130 pound average).
As someone who has owned a pit bull, I’ll say it again as I’ve said it many times before. The APBT is one of the most complex breeds in the world. It needs to come from a professional kennel, it must receive constant training from a very early age, and it requires a huge backyard full of toys.
But alas, nobody ever follows these guidelines. People get them from ghetto back yard breeders, bring them inside their home, and they barely can get them to sit without pushing their bottom down.

Probably because people don’t respect the pit bulls. Another really scary dog breed is Blue Healers. Dogs are beautiful but downright scary if not taken care of properly.
