Would you play a balanced/tweaked version of 3S if released?

I think 3s has pretty strong support for a 10 year old game. Just not at Evo, which I don’t think is the most significant marker of a games popularity.

Please keep in mind that while I am using Evo as a refereance, it is not my only source of info, case in point, my local scene, if it wasnt for my pushing and prodding, HDR/ST would not even be at the event, 3S is still up in the air, but I am pushing hard for it, CvS2 might happen… You get what I am saying?

And again, hate on Evo all you want, the simple, undeniable fact is that it is the “big boy” over here, it is the biggest, most well funded event, if a game dies at Evo, it hurts the games scene over here, period. This is an undeniable fact, and I mean if the 3S community can rally together, and get bigger turnouts at other tourneys, etc, that would be great, I just dont want to see this game die, I dont care how “old” the game is, ST is still played in Japan for gods sake.

I think a re release (even one with 0 balance changes, just to be clear) would really, REALLY benifit this game, GGPO only goes so far. Maybe I wouldent be pushing for this so hard if I didnt hate SF4 so much, lol, who knows.
