I know they have cross play, but I’m wondering if PS4 players perhaps set it to only connect with other Ps4 players.
Likewise I wanna take a break from using my PC and figured the Ps4 version might be worth it.
Heres the dilemma, on PC I’ve unlocked all Season 1 and most of season 2, missing Zeku, Menat and Abigal. And I had 200k fight money built up. So it seems to me just getting Arcade on Ps4 will give me season 1 and 2.
However all my sticks are x360 or xb1 currently.
So whats the cheapest Ps4 pad recommended to solder in? Or go for the ps4 only Brooks? I dont play enough I think to warrant the universal pcb.
Most people don’t select PS4 or PC only I’d say. They just jump on and play whoever. But I’d suggest getting a Brook adapter from arcadeshock.com if you’re on the west coast or center of US, Focusattack.com if you’re on the east coast. The Brook adapters are really good and don’t really add input lag that would affect your gameplay. Good luck!
Thanks for the suggestions. Last time I ordered stuff was from Lizard Lick during the SF4 release hype, so it’s been awhile.
Eastcoast so checking Focusattack, Seeing the PS3/4 board is $40 alongside the USB adapter I’m guessing I might as well just go with the PCB.
Id rather have a side project and solder it up too.
AE on PS4 is already pretty cheap and just going through the trials will give you enough FM to buy both Sakura and Blanka. If you continue switching around characters a bit and levelling them up (up to level 19 is really fast) you can get 500k FM for not doing very much, meaning you’ll only have to save a bit up for the very last character.
Exactly what I was thinking. Its a plan. Now to just remedy my controller issue.
Also I dont think SF Anniversary collection will be crossplay so Ps4 will most likely have a drastically higher population.
