older releases of games u dl required a boot-disk (easily obtained)
but many recent releasers have now made them self-bootable (and by recent, i mean within like the last 6-7 years lol)
and if u download a release that isnt self-bootable, its not that hard to learn how to turn it into one
Dc is probably one of the best console’s I own. I still argue with people about certain fighting games being ported better on the dc then the ps2. I’ll take Mvc2 on the dc over ps2 any day.
im holding my PS2 MvC2. I got it for free and can probably sell it for $250+. Does the DC internet still work to download saves? And I thought CvS2 and 3s on PS2 were arcade perfect. Am I wrong
No, the Sega Net was closed down by Sega. If it were still up, I’d be playing PSO on it. (Although some people have set up personal servers for that). PS2 CvS2 is not arcade perfect; the DC trumps it. PS2 Third Strike is closer to the arcade version of Third Strike, which is considered version A, while DC changes a few things and some call it Version B. In any case, neither of them are arcade perfect gameplay wise, although the PS2 version is what’s used for tourneys.
Just because someone asks $300 for it doesn’t mean they’re going to get it. You can search any rare games on Ebay (Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy 7, etc.) and find someone selling a factory sealed version for some outrageous price.
