Worst Video Game you've ever played, shit we wished we could forget

I will always defend Shaq Fu, sort of.

Sure, in terms of actual gameplay essentials- control, hit detection etc- it was terrible. But the the design was really good. The backgrounds and especially the animation were very good for the time, and some of the music was good, Genesis version especially:

Playing at or evenwatching the game you can see the basics of a legit fighting game (audio here is messed up because of emulation glitch)- you have movement options, a bunch of special moves for each character, an even things like multiple kinds of blocking and a RAGE meter, etc. I’m convinced that if you could get deep enough into the DIP settings, you could make a solid fighting game out of it.

Man a lot of trolling here(sf4? really?) and it’s all done very poorly.

Legit bad games
Double dragon 5.
Friday the 13’th for nes(you nothing about bad games until you have played this)
Rambo for nes.
Anything on Virtual boy(not only bad but you got a headache real fast for a 1-2 combo of shit on)
crow city of angels for ps1

AVGN and those guys aren’t really reviewing games, you know. They’re putting on a show.

Still doesn’t diminish the fact that Cheetamen and Ghost Buster are awful (fact, yes. They are poorly-made even with the “reviewers” making a big fuss about the mechanics).

Speaking of whom/back on topic, anyone played Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde?

I also remember downloading playing McDonald’s Treasure Land Adventure (too enticing to pass up). While not the worst game I’ve played, it was… kind of creepy. And not very good anyway.

Alot of weak ass trolling in this thread, BF3, NMH, Marvel 3, SF 4 are in no way the worst games you have ever played. If they are you have played a total of 5 games in your life.

I bought Tomb Raider Angel of Darkness, enough said on that piece of shit.

Meh…I thought Clay Fighters was fun when I was a kid; a lot of games are going to look bad if you bring them into modern times and hold them up to current competitive standards, but that underplays that they were imaginative and a good time in their day.

Dragonball Z: The Legacy of Goku was a really shitty game, but I loved it anyway.

Probably not the worst game I’ve played but it was fucking horrible

Duke Nukem Forever…

also I agree with toddler on the Crow game.

MVC3 and SF4 cause they aren’t MVC2 or ST…

…In all serious-ness here is my contribution.

-Modern Warfare 3
-Alien vs Predator(On the 360)
-Mario is Missing!

Play bloody roar 4.

Its TOO obvious that game is bad. A fucking 4:year old sensed that it was bad, and he LOVES 3D fighters.

Dragon Ball GT for PS1
T2:Judgement Day for SNES

Red Dead Redemption. I played up until the end of the first act(I think.) At that point, I couldn’t play it anymore. It’s just way too fucking dull, boring and slow-paced. I play and enjoy a lot of popular games, but man, how this game gets so much praise and love I will never understand. Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood is a much better old-western style game than RDR by far.

I’m way jealous of you guys that have never actually played a bad video game.

sure AVGNs putting on a show for the casuals, but does it help the show by dying on purpose/faking difficulty/getting his infomation wrong or his superman 64 review where he fails to beat the first level, this is beyond slack. did you even see his waynes world review/vomit? I understand that he has to put out a video every month but there’s no excuse. he should put the extra time and effort to make it, the fans will be happier with more effort then shit shoveled in their face on a strict dead line

never played cheetahmen or ghost busters

Trauma center on the DS. they had an awesome idea of saving peoples lives with the stylus and then they fuck it up with all this text about these fucking doctors that no one gives a shit about “I BECAME A DOCTOR TO SAVE LIVES, NOT TO GET INVOLVED IN BUREAUCRACY”. some stages were nothing but text. the worst part of this game was when you failed a level and had to sit through all that text again…it would force me to rage quit. at least ace attorney had lively text when you failed unlike this sad attempt at a drama

Super Max prison 4 on pc - now I’m not going to say I hate this game, but there are a lot of problems that leave me no choice but to leave it in it’s box. after awhile the game slows down to a crawl. it’s so hard to make money in that game. if a prisoner starts trying to escape I have no idea how to stop it. wheres the manual, it dosen’t even come with one. and the music, after awhile it starts getting choppy

Resistence PS3 - fuck that game. to be fair I played Resistence after I played Modern Warfare 2 and as much as I hated MW2 it was a superior game to resistence (controls scheme wise and everything else)

Ah, I see what you’re saying now. Yeah, I do find his “frustrations” annoying after a few times (it’s hard/frustrating, no need to make it look harder with exaggerated motions and yelling), and it’s aggravating when he just kinda moves on to the next game after “giving up.” Showing more of a bad game would actually add to the humor because we’d get to see more of the crap the game has to offer. Even worse are the people who try to mimic him and fail at playing offensive/angry. But whatever.

I haven’t seen the Wayne’s World “review.” Something tells me I shouldn’t.

The PS2 “sequel” to Brave Fencer Musashi. Maybe not as bad as it was extremely disappointing, but I’ve never felt a greater urge to snap a disc in half than I did when I played that game (although I couldn’t because it was a rental). I made it two hours in before I angrily shut off the PS2. It went against everything the original game stood for. The game is a disgrace and should never be played again.

Wrong. Adventure 2 is the best Sonic game of all time, and Adventure 1 is a really good game as well.

Anyway, worst game I’d ever played would have to be DBZ sagas. It was just so buggy and glitchy and incomplete and the music was terrible, and just ugh, fuck that game

Bought it got home played it 2 mins later turned it off, still own the game now and will never touch this.

I think thats saying something when I played through this

I remember liking Carrier. It was Resident Evil on a boat with invisible enemies. Annoying as hell but I personally didn’t think it was bad. I felt that Blue Stringer was a much worse game.

for me personally, GodHand

The Last Remnant is the worst turn-based JRPG I’ve ever played. The battle system tries to introduce itself as deep and technical, but really, it’s extremely easy to figure out and once you do, you see how tedious and boring it all is. The story is also completely filled with cliches and anime bullshit.
