Just picked up the WWH#2 and the X-Men WWH tie-in (2nd). What happened between Juggernaut and that gem that seemingly used to give him his powers?
And how the hell is the generic army gonna stop the Hulk? Looking back on Sentry’s backstory…something fishy’s gonna happen before this whole mess ends.
But hey, in the meantime, we get more Smash-age.

Basically Juggernaut gave up his ways of being evil in a nutshell and the cytorakk gem wasn’t having it so basically we have a juggernaut thats not so invincible anymore. He actually can be stopped and he needs rest and food to survive.
Marvel has done four printings of the original Marvel Zombies hardcover TPB. The 4th printing came out last week. Suydam did a new cover zombifing Mary Jane ( in a pose from that Spider Man loves Mary Jane comic). If you’re loooking for that Marvel Zombies/Army of Darkness crossover, it ended a few weeks ago, so it should be put into tpb soon.

I think Cytorakk actually told him to kill some guy in mortal combat in contesting the gem, to which Juggs said no. Fully powered Juggs vs Hulk would have been interesting, but the way things are going, Hulk probably would have done the exact same thing Onslaught did and just rip the gem out.

on topic of the sentry, i really don’t like him. i haven’t read too much (anything) about him other than the wiki (didn’t i post this somehwere already??? hmmm) but he just sounds like a fucking douche bag.
hopefully thor comes back from AD mad at people trying to play god and side with hulk… and then black adam comes out of the same portal that sent hulk to sakaar and hulk, thor, and black adam square off against everyone. shit while i’m at it, might as well bring thanos back from the dead and summon warlock to form the 5 deadly venoms.
I love Thor and hate Sentry as much as the next guy, but cmon. Sentry’s consistently played up to be way out there as the strongest hero in the Marvel Universe. And not by a little. The way things are being layed out right now, the only guy who could come close to touching Sentry would be Hulk. And that’s only cuz it’d be seriously lame if Sentry showed up and beat down the Hulk and then the last two issues of WWH would just be everyone dicking around.
But yeah, seriously, until the Sentry dies a totally lame death and comes back as a full-powered Void for the next crossover series that results in a whole lotta random deaths, we’re going to have Sentry being held up as the strongest there is…

What is with all this Sentry hate? The original miniseries was one of the best comics Marvel published. It’s not as good as Jenkins/Lee’s Inhumans but it’s still strong compared to all the other superhero comics of this era.
If the Sentry seems lame now, it’s not because he’s a crappy character. Blame Greg Pak, or whomever is writing his appearances in the crossover.

Instead of reading the wikipedia, read the original Sentry miniseries.
But the original series plays very little into everything that’s going on right now for Sentry hate to come from there. Pak hasn’t done much with Sentry yet. If anything the hate comes from Bendis shoving him down our throats. While he made people like Spider-Woman, Sentry is just a poor stand in for Thor. Yeah I know Thor was unavailabe, what about Hercules or someone more deserving? Eh I dunno…
I mean you know, Marvel could make us like him. As strong as they say he is have him do something MAJOR like punch Galactus in the face and knock him out, or hey Shuma-Gorath and Blackheart - Not going anywhere? Try getting your asses kicked by Sentry. 
Man his biggest claim to fame post the OG series is killing Carnage, beating himself/Void and some noobs. I thought the Carnage thing was cool but like… he SHOULD be able to beat Carnage so in the grand scheme of things who cares? Give Thanos a wedgie and now we are talking! Power of 1,000 suns let me see it whatever the f*** that means. Instead he just sits around being emo most of the time…
Does anyone want to see Sentry defeat Hulk? Prolly not. If they built Sentry’s strength a little more maybe but as of right now no. Thor beating up Hulk, people would like to see that. That’s kind of what I’m talking about. Just saying…

not just bendis. you’re also forgetting that lint’s favorite writer of all time paul jenkins keeps using him in everything he does. cw : the return - back up story showing sentry registering. then at the end of cw frontline, HE TELLS THE SAME STORY AGAIN!!! now i have no problem with jenkins. i just want him to stop shoving sentry down the readers’ throats.
If I were to write a Sentry story, I’d straight up rip off Miracleman.
I’d write how Sentry’s sidekick learns that Void is Sentry, losing his mind because Void did a real number on him. He’d go on a killing spree and no other superheroes can stop him. All Sentry could do is stalemate him. Realizing that in order to stop him, he’d have to kill him… but at the last minute Sentry realizes that he can’t kill him. Then Void would pop up from Sentry and just straight up kill the sidekick.
You’re right Sano… Sentry hasn’t done anything that is worth mentioning.
Hell no I’m not sitting through Frontlines again. Big reveal in the last series was LAME. They should of found out about Iron Man accidentally blowing up the airplane of passengers and covering it up which was worse than the Stamford incident, not the lame Osborne/Atlantis crap. Not report it of course but that would of been much more interesting. Those reporters suck. The only way they can save face now is if they find out which of the Illuminati members is a Skrull. If I hear that or something like it I will go buy the TPB but after the last time out if there is a big reveal I’m betting it will be lame. “OH SNAP HULK USED TO BE GRAY WOW!”

My friend got the Marvel Zombies Vs. Army of Darkness. I missed the first issue but I read numbers 2-5. I thought it was actually really good. It was funny and highly entertaining. The ending was clever as well. Although MZ vs. AoD isn’t written by Kirkman, I’d say it’s worth checking out if you like the other MZ stuff.
