I heard about the king of all beatdowns that wolverine got. It serves him right for daring to act all cocky, and thinking he can push around the hulk in a face off.
Colossus could easily tear wolvie a new one, and poor peter got ‘canned’!

Poor colossus… but more than that… Emma is bad ass. I mean not that she was particularly useful vs hulk… but she blocked the professors powers before he could use them to make the xmen stand down…
Juggernaugt… I think if that was full cytorak juggy that fight would’ve been way more awesome. With night crawler x factor back to help deal with Hulk this should get interesting. I mean theoretically… Nightcrawler could just teleport hulks head off… end of story.
I’m glad i’m not the only one who enjoyed wolvies beat down. Personally I think Laura did a better job vs hulk than he did.
Also… no biting? he didn’t bite mr fantastic. I thought for sure that would happen.
Clobbering time was pretty lame… but i loved Black panther and storm. Honestly the role they played was exactly where i’d put them if i was writing this … They are like well you brought this fight on us… you deal with it… I guess we’ll cover you and protect ourselves as necessary. “clearly you havent met my wife” - awesome
ghost rider… I’m glad that it was acknowleged that ghost rider is very capable of defeating hulk by himself, even now. I’m also glad that he didnt get involved.
Since he’s not killing the Illuminati I wonder what he actually intends to do with them if he collected them all.
I thought Juggernaut is stronger than before because he absorbed the whole cyttorak in new excalibur?
What is Sentry waiting for? What was the “word” he had with Iron man? What did Iron Man mean when he said Sentry would come with the “time is right?”
Reed Richards saying “uh oh” was classic when Hulk grabbed his ass. You would think someone with his vast intellect would say something more profound, but no… we get “uh oh” Would’ve been better if he said “OH $#*!!” I know that’s what I would’ve said.
I keep looking at the sequence of wolvie getting his brain bashed and I agree, it’s always nice to see mr. “I’m the best there is at what I do…blah, blah, blah” get taken down a few (dozen) pegs.

While on the Wolverine tangent: Both Hulk AND Sentry have stated that they are unable to kill Wolverine… uh… when did wolvie become an immortal?? Doesn’t xavier have detailed files on how to kill him?
Also, why does Hulk bleed so easily now? I remember back in the day he could take a direct shot from Thor’s hammer and not get so much as a nose bleed, now blood shoots out his nose when he gets punched by She-Hulk and the Thing. True it doesn’t slow him down, but him bleeding from such light weights is weird to see.
Okay, all I know is that they had better put ALL the WWH crossovers in ONE TB… I don’t wanna miss a single minute of this story, but I’m not gonna spend 50 bucks a month to try to keep up with it.
Wolverine is no slouch but would easily get clobbered by colossus, no contest there. Colossus has godly strength and endurance(not hulk-like but still tough), and highly protective steel skin.
Basically all colossus has to do is grab a hold of wolverine just once, and it ENDs with a beatdown similar to the hulk.
Then there was that stupid story plot where every time wolvie dies, he gets sent to hell, BUT he can continue to come back to life as long as he defeats the hell guardian there guarding the portal to earth, or something ridiculous like that.
I say just freeze his ass, and place him in a top-secret hidden location where he won’t be disturbed for the next few hundred years(omega-red style).
Perhaps it was a punishment by cytorak for juggy disobeying him back then, so he was really not at full power when he fought the hulk this time.
Wolverine can cut through Colossus like tin foil. Also, he’s a superior fighter so there’s no way Mr. Rasputin would even get a hold on him. Wolverine can own Colossus and Thing, but Hulk has a healing factor also…:wgrin:
I’m betting money that Juggy will go Super Saiyajin(Sayan) in the next ish of WWH X-Men when the gem decides to give him all of his powers, he’ll turn into the big red tubo. Then he will still get his ass beat.

No way, at least not the old colossus. I’ve seen him kick wolvie’s ass a few times(a long time ago so i don’t remember the exact issue/storyline).
Heck in the 90’s cartoon when they first met, wolverine attacked and colossus just tossed him aside like nothing! I think that was also the first 90’s episode appearance of juggernaut.
Wolverine has actually pierced the skin with a slice. Colossus knows Wolvies strength. Also, Wolvie can fight for days. Like, DAYS! Colossus gets tired and fatigued. Wolvie doesn’t.
Anyway, back to the topic at hand:
Hulk > everyone. The latest issue was dynamite. I may have to pick up that Wolvie tie-in to see how bad he got scrapped.
Also TrueGrave, you’re forgetting that the Hulk was fighting in a different environment completely different to Earth. Basically: Hulk was training at 10 times Earth’s gravity and got HELLA stronger. Wolvie can’t compete with that anymore.

Ok but thats incorrect about colossus getting tired & fatigued. Unless the current day colossus is different, he otherwise still has his superhuman endurance and can fight for hours if needed.
Because he requires no food or oxygen in his armored form, he does not get fatigued much at all. His marvel bio states it.
Wolverine could never handle the hulk from the very beginning. I remember when hulk & wolvie fought in the early 90’s, while the claws COULD cut through the hulk’s skin, it is just so thick that wolverine simply does not possess the physical strength needed to break through.
Even if he did hulk’s healing abilities would repair the damage soon after. There are just some characters wolverine does not stand a chance against(like mags), hulk is one of them.
The Juggernaut’s a bitch. Seriously, I saw Juggs about talking with the crystal and I was psyched…then three frames later he was like a squirrel on a freeway.
Though I loved how the first few pages of Frontline 2 had Sally bitching about the class gap and how she felt bad for the poor people in NYC…then a gang of people goes after them. Then the 10 year old smack talks Daredevil.

Having said that, I would like to go on record for saying that everything about Sentry sucks. His origin is ridiculous, his costume is god awful and his personality is whiny and annoying.
You mean to tell me he’s supposed to have been around since the very beginning, but nobody realizes it because of some dumb “forgetfulness spell??” How contrived is that?? That’s right up there with the infamous “reset button” plot device.

Uh, collssus can’t fuck with wolverine. I’ve never seen collusus best wolverine but I’ve seen the other way around plenty of times. Also, marvel bios are often incorrect btw.

I dont’ know why we needed a sentry type character anyways. Thor should be the one showing up to deal with Hulk if they needed god like powers to be present.
I hate when writers do things like that… there are alot of marvel characters that are still around but have unexplained abscences that could be used.
