they won’t let it go extinct, but prices are going to be going up at some point, as the price it’s being held to right now isn’t sustainable. You’ll see less small companies making high cocoa % chocolate bars, less giant chocolate easter bunnies, or other nonsense. Can’t see how they won’t just invent a cocoa substitute (or giant greenhouse farms with imported soil to grow it outside of it’s natural conditions).
So more shit chocolate for everyone? Thats disappointing. Good chocolate is gonna be hella expensive while ass chocolate is just gonna be expensive and taste like ass.
