So its pretty much ugly dicks guys complaining about guys who aren’t complaining about their pretty dicks. Yet ugly dick guys have a problem with it but pretty dicks guys dont. You ugly dick guys are retarded…
Atheism is disbelief, or rejection of claims of a god or gods. Basically, you present your evidence for a god, and the atheist will evaluate it, and probably refute it because it’s bullshit.
Spin it however you want, you are still mutilating a child’s penis for an unsubstantiated claim. Religion gets away with such horrible atrocities. And childhood indoctrination should be viewed as the psychological abuse that it is. Parents should be teaching their kids to question all claims that sound unreal or illogical, not encouraging blind faith and devotion to the improbable.
Well, technically the foreskin isn’t solely for your own pleasure. You run the risk of something botching and fucking up your dick, like getting skin bridges, having permanent scars, etc. All for the benefit of… uh, having to pull your foreskin back if you want to send dick pics, and having to wash your dick everyday (why the fuck wouldn’t you?)
If parents want to mutilate their kids dicks, they can feel free, but I wish people wouldn’t drill that it is a near on necessity into their heads. Personally, I’d never have my kid circumcised unless a health condition could be alleviated by it.
Even if blocks of text are not well-organized, you can still tell which word I’m referring to when I say “it”. “Your problem with IT…” meaning restoration even though I asked a question about the morality of circumcision right before it.
Yes, yes. There are horror stories. But only because the idiots who did it weren’t well-informed about it in the first place.
As for why it’s not morally wrong:
How often do you see people opposing ear piercing? Or forcing kids to go to school without their consent? (like your “cutting legs”)
Never.
Why? Why not oppose it the same way with circumcision? Isn’t their pain and permanent damage from both of the former ones? (mental from school, i.e. bullying)
Because circumcision is related to religion. You don’t actually think that circumcision is morally wrong: you just want to harm religion in any way.
You kept saying that parents have no right in circumcising their kids, even though THAT IS COMPLETE BS. But you want to people to think that that’s what it is: religion does stuff against the law. But that’s not the case.
By the way, that was the worst ditch effort I have seen in my entire life. That was basically “You are completely wrong. I’m leaving.” And you haven’t even addressed any point. I’ve seen bad ones, but damn, this one is truly the worst.
Oh, so you’re saying that telling a kid that god doesn’t exist and never existed is brainwashing, too? Thanks for making that clear
So you, too, are only against circumcision because it’s religious? Good to know.
Son, a right is what the law allows you to do, NOT what YOU think is right.
Wow, you really think that a religious person should come up to you and ask “is this good evidence?” and then you take what they have and evaluate it and go “hmm, nah, it’s bs”? wow.
Hey, I got an idea! let’s go the other way round! YOU bring evidence of the inexistance of god to a religious person then they evaluate what you have! Oh, you don’t like that idea? Of course not! Because of your double standards and you basically know that you can’t disprove anything for shit.
Make sure you teach that to your kid and not indoctrinate atheism to them; it might sound unlikely to them. But I know you won’t and you’ll probably brainwash them, you evil brainwasher you!
Circumcision is reversible, too. Even with your own bare hands. But you didn’t bother to read about anything and immediately assumed the worst only because its religion-related. Kudos for being non-biased.
You don’t seem to get it. Rejecting an unsubstantiated claim doesn’t require any evidence. The burden of proof lies on the person making the claim, not on anyone else. If I claim I can levitate when no one is looking, it’s not on you to disprove that claim.
Your assertions are the typical theistic rhetoric, and it’s all been debunked time and time again. If you want to challenge your beliefs and see how they stand up to scrutiny, go watch some youtube channels, like thunderf00t, the thinking atheist, or the atheist experience. Or better yet, call into the atheist experience and see if you can argue your logic with people that put much more thought into this than anyone on this forum(probably).
Oh ok, so you should put someone through a circumcision reversal(which I’m sure is a lovely process) because of some religious doctrine written by bronze-age men? Sounds kinda twisted to me. Maybe parents should be allowed to tattoo their children too, since it’s reversible.
Physical integrity is one of the most important things in life. Nobody has the right to mutilate somebody else, specially when it’s a defenseless baby. Fuck circumcision and whoever advocates this shit.
If I was that kid’s father, I would just put a bullet through that doctor’s skull. There’s no way I would let a doctor/priest/whatever ruin my child’s life like that. Then I would kill myself for being stupid enough to put my own kid through such pain in the first place.
I’m circumcised and I still get smegma on the tip. If I bone down on my girlfriend at night, sometimes the next morning my piss will shoot out in two streams.
You have to be a troll, you can’t really be this stupid. Comparing sending your kid to school to chopping off parts of his body without consent? GTFO. No one said telling kids atheism is true is right either. The only correct thing to tell a child is “No one fucking knows, but you can decide for yourself when you’re old enough to really think about all of this.”
Ear piercing is stupid too, but it isn’t even close to the same scale as genital mutilation. I’m opposed to circumcision because it is barbaric and wrong, the fact that it has religious roots is merely coincidental.
You think rights have anything to do with laws? Yeah, never mind. You really are that stupid.
If the Bible and Koran did not advocate circumcision, and there was no societal pressure to conform, this would not be an issue and nobody would be circumcised.
Question: What is the difference between snipping off a tiny portion of a little boy’s penis and snipping off a tiny portion of a little girl’s clitoris?
Answer: No difference. They are both genital mutilation.
