Well, to my knowledge, it is an insult when a white guy says it to a black guy. And since people here usually don’t know the skin color of other people, I find it a bit strange that they randomly use this term so much.
If the people who use it here are white, then they use an insult.
If the people who use it here are black, then they’re just plain stupid. Because how do they want to know if the other one is a fellow African American?
A black guy calling a white guy a n**igger might not be an insult, but it’s stupid and nonsensical.
Also, for some reason, it’s only this forum where I see that word so much. I’ve never seen any other internet forum where the people constantly address random other people with the word “n**igger”.

why do you keep rolling your Rs? “Nigga” can be used in various ways. One of them is a term of endearment the others aren’t. SRK has had a long standing tradition of assuming all members are black unless otherwise proven. This means that its just us niggas in this place. Because this applies only to the site, none of the white/latino/etc members are walking up to the black members IRL and calling them niggas.
ON TOP OF THAT, we don’t actually use the n1gger version because that would be an actual insult. Not only is it an insult, its just something incredibly offensive to say to another person. Nobody here has any issues with race relations, so this isn’t really the place where you’ll see people actually saying that to each other.

As you might remember, my original post was about the fact that this whole “woman trolling herself” stuff is idiotic. And I also had a discussion about some internet emulator once where the guy who argued against me didn’t even understand the most basic terms.
So, yes, my assumption that most people here are morons does not have anything to do with the whole “nigga” stuff. That was merely a further observation. But the actual thing that is facepalm-worthy is the level of discussion in general.
For example, look at that guy with his “But hurt ass Nigga. I bet he’s from Europe to” reply.
What does the fact that I’m from Europe have to do with anything? Because the woman in the article is from Great Britain?
Erm, yes. You do know that the European countries aren’t connected in the same way the states in the USA are, right? While a New Yorker and a guy from Dallas both identify themselves as American and belonging to the same country, this is not the case in Europe.
If someone asked me about my nationality, I would say German, not Euorpean. So, I don’t care shit if you make fun of some stupid British woman.
This whole “He’s just pissed because he’s from Europe himself” doesn’t work. That’s like me saying the people from the USA are pissed because an article made fun of a guy from Brazil.

Just like the dude who flew to China to meet a chick he met on-line and got rejected, or the would be car theif who KOed himself with a brick. Now if this was important news we’d show it the seriousness it deserves. But this doesn’t, it’s just for a good laugh. And as for us using the word nigga. Most SRKers are black ( or give the perception they are ) so that’s where the assumption comes from. And no one says “nigger” because that’s the insulting way of using the word.

That’s exactly the thing: You don’t. You didn’t reference the actual topic at all. The whole “trolling” stuff wasn’t mentioned by anyone after the first post anymore. All you did was comment on how fat and ugly she is. In how far is this laughing about the absurdity of the topic?
Furthermore, the topic is not absurd at all. Yes, a woman getting jailtime for trolling herself, that would be absurd. But that’s not even the case here. Just because some idiot talked about “trolling oneself” and then another idiot repeated it doesn’t mean that this is what’s going on.
The actual topic is a woman who created fake accounts, wrote some obscene mails to herself from these accounts and then told the police that she’s harrassed by claiming that the accounts were created by her father.
This is just plain old false accusations to get rid of a person you don’t like. In how far is this topic absurd in any definition of the word?
Yes, going to jail for trolling yourself, this would be absurd. But that’s what I wanted to say: People are too stupid to realize that “trolling herself” are not at all the charges that were put agains that woman. Her crime was false accusations. So, where’s the funny absurdity to begin with?
I’m always in for a good laugh. But if it’s some elementary school level humor like “look at that phat bitch” or if it’s totally misinterpreting the situation (“she trolled herself, lol”), then forgive me if I consider the people who do this stupid. Even humor has to have a certain level of intelligence to be funny.

I’m indeed laughing at the story because it’s funny how one would do all that to get a person in trouble over some shit from the past instead of confronting said person. And the police didn’t even investigate the threats at first even though she was caught doing the same shit before. That’s hallarious. and they don’t seem to mind at all. Most likely because they know me well enough to know
that it is supposed to be something “friendly” or something said between friends

This wasn’t directed towards you personally. Since your post included a general evaluation of the thread (people make fun of the topic), I wrote my own evaluation (people don’t even talk about the topic).
That’s the first time in this thread that somebody actually says something about the topic from the original post.
But otherwise: Look at all the other posts. Isn’t it true what I said? Isn’t it true that the people here didn’t even refer to the topic, only writing stuff like “Ew, don’t click the spoiler. Such an ugly fat chick.” And when I called them out on being stupid because of that (and because of not even realizing that “trolling herself” is a total misrepresentation of the situation), didn’t they say stupid things as well, like “Butt hurt ass. I bet he’s from Europe”?
P.S.: About the “nigga” thing: I’m not insulted or anything like that about it, so you don’t need to explain me that you don’t mean it as an insult, but in a friendly manner. I just mentioned it because I find it immature. You cannot read in a single thread here without reading “these niggas” or something like that. It’s not even that people call that to each other. But you read a post about some situation in the world and the guy then calls the people from that situation “these niggas”. I don’t care about it on a political correctness level. It’s just that I get tired of it, like in: O.k., do you also know any other words? Do you have to call each and every person with the same word?
