cool Axl fanart based off his GGXX portrait pic. Nice, very manga-ish in drawing style - although I’d personally prefer if his eyes were slightly smaller and closer together.
nice detail on the chain. you must have put in quite a bit of effort to get that done.

any artist on here will tell you. it can be a bad habit to get into by just copying other peoples art. try some of your own stuff bro.
i know that…and i do a lot of my own stuff (ask Kayin) i just don’t have any good ones scanned right now

Hey, not bad. Especially the Axl one. ^^
Really good stuff. But the diffrence between the copied art and original is very visible. The stuff that’s copied is very lively and full of motion and the original stuff is kind of stiffy, not to mention that character looks as flat as Paper Mario.
I suggest looking to some drawing tutorials, studying body shape and proportions.
And then use all those techniques from tutorials and stuff when copying images… That helps you develop your own style. Later on you could draw your own characters just as well as the stuff you copy.
yep that’s what i’ve been trying to do just haven’t had the time…but yeah i’m aweful at non copied stuff haha i just can’t seem to come up with new positions and such x_x oh well goes off to practice thanks for the advice
tried something new…bit more realistic…seems to have turned out better than my anime stuff haha ^_^;;
