BTW, I’m thinking of getting a hotel room at the Red Roof Inn for MWC. I’d be getting one for Friday and Saturday night, leaving for IL on Friday morning, then heading back to Milwaukee on Sunday after the games finish. Let me know if any of you want to ride in my van + stay in the room.
Wednesday I’d be down to hang out…but I have that rap and poetry artistic gathering I was talking to u about. So if u don’t mind coming to that for a bit then sure. It’s really fun and pretty informative…:wgrin:!!! Oh and it being uncensored is always a plus.
So u could come kick it at like 4 - 5pm. We’d play til like 8:30 ish. Break for dinner at Whey Chai…hopefully it’ll be my treat. Then we go to Open Mic at 9:30pm til 11:pm. They usually hang out at the bar afterwards and I go too, but we could just head back for more games if u want.

Oh and no I wasn’t able to watch DB yet. But I will.
So, it looks like it’ll be $188 for 2 nights at the Red Roof Inn. If we split that at least 4 ways, it would be $47 per person. That’s pretty good. Let me know so I can reserve the room soon.

But Red Roof Inn is where EVERYONE will be for PS2 casuals. That’s actually why I’m going, for hotel madness. I’m not entering any tourneys at all. If you’re going with your crew and staying with a friend that lives in IL, that’s cool, but PS2 casuals will be at hotel only.

as long as there are drinking types in the crowd, pretty much any bar would probaby host this sort of thing. i saw a madden tournament at riverhorse once. dude flew in from NY wearing a brett favre jersey just to play madden in a shit hole bar. for 200 dollars. fuck that guy. he lost anyway.
i might not be available this weekend, saturday we’ve got a show in madison and sunday i’m probably working. i go back to work this week!

Confirmed: I’ll be moving out AFTER MwC. I’ll be moved out the week of Jul 13th to Madison.
I’m on-call that weekend, so if there is a tourney/gathering, I don’t know how likely it is I’d be able to make it. I’ll try to get someone to cover for me, but someone needs to solidify plans for that weekend; I don’t want to ask off and end up sitting at home by myself.
