andrew, ken is pretty tricky in sf4, i think you would enjoy playing him (forward + MK tricks)
he also has a really good kara cancel off of it. why they kept that bug in the game is beyond me but whatever

I watched a ton of mach vids with Ken. Still seems decent despite being mid-tier. When I start playing SF4, he’ll probably be my main. Although, the character model looks so bloated and clunky, that sorta turns me off…

My furete is at 1800bp, and ive played ranking a total of about 2 hours. I hate ranking mode. People drop on you all the time when you are about to win, its an exercise in frustration. They need to fix it and reset everyone’s points.
Yep…I can’t get matches unless I create matches in ranked. I’ll sit for about 15 minutes and randomly pick matches out of the custom matches it pulls up for me, NONE of them work. If I go to player matches, I usually don’t find anybody good. At least people are trying hard to get their dumb points when I do ranked.
I can’t beat guile. Help.

Guile and Joe are still beating me. 
Joe is really good, so thats going to happen for a while. But its really good practice, i bet, to have him around. Did you manage to see the SF4 finals at WIMPS? That probably would have helped, too, seeing a fuerte beat a ken.
Guile, honestly, ive found very easy so far.
So I’ve played a lot of fighting games in the past but never got to play 2D fighters competitively at all. Now that SFIV is out with decent online play, I want to get better. Put me up as a Madison SRKer. Maybe I can get some games with you guys (PSN: anothergod). Thanks.

Beefman, quick and easy way to get into a ranked match is to do as follows:
- Ranked Match --> Custom Match
- Set ALL options to “Any” (including Search Priority)
- Touch A / X / your penis. Wait, unless you touch your penis, in which case continue.
- When the list pops up of ten or so matches, immediately cursor down to the bottom one.
- Q: Is it “Lobby”? If yes, click on it. If no, move up one more room and repeat step 5. (This is really important despite me wording it like it’s not. If you click on a “Fight Req” room it will not work 99.9% of the time. “Lobby” at least works about 50% of the time.)
- Q: Did you get into a game? If yes, congratulations! Enjoy playing against Ryu / Ken / Sagat / Gief (with 30sec 1round match) and watching them disconnect when they have a sliver of health left after you obliterate them. If no, do one of the following: repeat steps 4-6 in hopes of getting into a ranked match, or do the RIGHT thing and just play Player matches, because all Ranked players are bullshit, BP’s are bullshit and SF IV online Ranked is broken… and bullshit.
