I’ve had the game since release but never really bothered to get all that much into it, but now that I see that a lot of people here actually play it. I’ll start playing it more often to catch up and play some online games with people
:wonder: Hey guys, if you’re trying to get the “Beat Zico” trophy I found a slightly easier (:xeye: but not much easier) way of getting it as opposed to the standard method. [media=youtube]MxXySH-j2FE]Here’s[/u[/media] the standard way of getting it.
When you first start the attempt, the recommended way is to hit the the middle speed pad then to two on the right (25 seconds into the vid), but I found that you can save a little more time by hitting the first speed pad, side shift to the left and hit the left speed pad (instead of the right), then slightly turn into the last speed pad on the right. It’s more tricky to do the middle, left, right but it saves a little more time because instead of taking a wide turn, you do a straight line then slight turn. Just changing that little bit shaved off enough milliseconds for me to beat Zico, while accidentally scraping a wall on the attempted lap.
Also after you’ve hit the 4 speed pads on the bridge, you can just fall off the bridge right after the fourth one and do the barrel roll into the last speed pad. I found that easier than trying to land it the way they did in that video… dood.
this game is great
although its just f-zero gx without the personality…
but that says a lot, because f-zero is easilythe most fun racing experiences in my life (gaming wise)
Wipeout series is right behind it imo. burnout is decent but not quite wipeout/f-zero level.

Wipeout HD has been on my wish list since before I had a PS3. Too busy playing HD Remix to justify dropping $20 for it, but the summer sale dropped it to $15 and I took the bait. I’ll have to check out the add-on.
Amazing graphics and sense of speed. Custom soundtracks mean I can bust out my MP3s ripped from the original (PSone/Saturn) version. Good memories.
Yeah Dood, we gotta play some HD Fury. It’s like an entirely new game now, and the new music is so fitting with the expansion.

Yeah i would say its worth it. Online play is pretty good now especially on eliminator mode.
Fury is most definitely worth it. it damn near doubles the content.

I need to sharpen my edge in this game. I can do perfect laps at full speed with my eyes closed, but im not getting through the tracks as fast as I could.
I need to know the lil spots where you can lift the ship and get a free turbo and everything.
