Just got this a couple nights ago, awesome awesome game. I bought my first PS1 bundled with Wipeout XL and this is probably the best version of the game since then (despite the lack of tracks).
I know everyones probably on dat HDR but add me (PSN MortalLock) for some racing action.
So, any of you gentlemen want to team up online to get the “Bling Brigade” trophy? This thread is pretty dead, so do we even have 8 people here that play this game… dood?

Those silver skins are the ones you get for medaling all the campaigns right? I’m down (on Hawaii time tho), but yeah dunno if there are enough SRKers who also play this lol.
I play, but it’ll be a while before I finish all the campaigns.

I played some WipEout yesterday for giggles since I haven’t played in a while, and the first race I got into was one where I got the Bling trophy, didn’t realize till it happened…in any case, I’m down to help peeps out whenever the race gets scheduled.
Yeah Dood, you must be godly at this game, I don’t think I could ever touch some of the trophies you have achieved, good shit man!

Dang, lucky you. Evertime I go online I struggle to find a match at all and when I do, I rarely ever see players with the silver skin playing.
It’s more of a combination luck, more luck & Feiser. Some of those races I would spend a whole hour or two just to get first on one of them. I’m only 3 races away from getting arcade perfect (Getting 1st on all 16 maps on Elite + Phantom) but the last three reverse tracks (Sebenco Climb, Ubermall & Sol 2) have been killing me. I spent about 3 hours just to get past Metropia & Chengou Project. The game is seriously a tough one… dood.
Cool. I had actually only completed the first four stages of campaign. Finished the 5th one last night. Funny thing is, is that I did not realize that you could select Novice, Skilled, or Elite. So on the first three stages, I went “Gold or nothing” on all of the races, sometimes spending an hour on one race, just to shave off that little bit of time. I notice it was really easy last night, and was worried because my medals looked different. Once I realized this, and became OK with just racing on Novice (for now), I started to make major progress. Should be soon :lol:
This is game is freaking tough, no joke. So Feisars been good to you? I’ve been using Assegai, mainly, except in races…shield isn’t strong enough it seems. Any recommendations?
:wonder: Yeah I was using Assegai and Harimau at first but then I when I got Icarus it was my main until I got to Meltdown. I just couldn’t keep up with the turns at that speed with Icarus so I went to Feisar because of it’s handling and found myself winning a lot more easily. I guess for me it was just Icarus for the slower classes and Feisar for the faster (especially Phantom) classes. Man, I finally got that pesky arcade perfect trophy, only 3 more to go. Thank you Feisar… dood!
Yeah, Feisar is so much better than everything else.

Probably in the same way I get beat up all the time by playing Akira in VF5, when my buddies play Lei Fei…incredibly frustrating for me, yet I still keep at it. :looney:
