I wonder what progress I’ve made. Then again 3s isn’t my main game and I wasn’t part of the ranbats in the summer. Hopefully we’ll have a decent turnout tonight and we can have some good matches. Must have some ST action though. Love the game so much.
Damn if people actually watch the matches we post later its gonna look like there was no progress at all. Oh well this is just a weekly event. We’re gonna be getting better. Hopefully there will be more people next week. Atleast 8.
Oh man. Soooo bad last night. Completely out of practice and none of us were paying the least amount of attention during our matches (too busy being overtired, talking and laughing). Ah well. I’ll post the videos anyway just so I can get in the habit of editing it.
Just don’t take them as an actual representation of our skill. 
Especially not me since I’m not a 3s or t5 player.

Any how, you guys seem to play alright but you don’t seem to competitive. Its like you play for fun. Which isnt bad, esentially why your playing the game. I wanna see you guys play angrey. Do you play for money in these ranbats?
I played a money match with KLB once at a tournament, I lost badly, just like I did in the video. But seriously, I try most of the time when I play in these things, cuz I want the mindset of being in a tournament, if I lose, I do tend to get a bit angry with myself.

Yeah, our weekly tournaments aren’t really that competitive. They’re just something we thought up because we felt it was a waste not to do organized stuff during our weekly gatherings. The actual tournament events are a lot more competitive and do involve money. Iceman in particular doesn’t play seriously in the least bit.
He does when he’s being badly beaten.
I really like playing for fun more then trying to be all competitive when we do casuals. I find it more entertaining and people don’t get all depressed for losing allot because it really doesn’t matter.
Tourneys are a little different. We tend to go all out even over a measly $15.
I think as time goes on well start getting more competitive for these.
You can get rid of the horizontal lines from your videos if you de-interlace.

Winnipeg is starting to pick up more so now. Just wondering if you guys are letting peeps there know about srk. It helps to bring you guys together.
I could but I’m not really too concerned about the quality on these house gatherings. I’ll focus more on good quality for our real events.
It doesn’t help that I haven’t done this for almost 5 years. 
We have our own local board that people post on so a lot of them don’t come by and post here. A lot easier dealing with the site for now. This place can seem rather intimidating for people.
true enough but it would allow for other people around the Winnipeg area to get involved with your guys ranbat/tournaments. I’m only making suggestions, what you do is ultimately your own decision.
Man, the prairies should just unite for ONE big thread. Alb, Sask, and Manitoba…but that’s probably not gonna happen, cuz I rarely see any Sask players…although I remember seeing them once!
Calgary and Edmonton should come to Winnipeg in August for our BIG summer tournament…aka That Summer Tournament. lol
