I would play MvC2 using low-tier !infinite characters.
Infinites are the only reason I stray away from the game.
I wouldn’t ban Strider, but take away his infinite against tall characters.
I don’t know who else has them.
I would also play MvC1 again if there was any interest within the community.

Well since arcades are completely gone in our city, in order to play any of the VS games outside of MVC2 on the DC, we’d have to have a laptop/MAME setup which is a bit of a hassle at this moment. Wouldn’t surprise me if we have it for TST though.
I take it Andrew is the type of guy who would want to only partake in MVC2 low tier tournies. And we all know Matt and Steffan’s philosophies on that. 
The thing is, we know a lot of people who are really into the VS and CVS2 type of games. Any time I even slightly mention Marvel, they’ll be like “Marvel?! Sweet! I’ll be all over that shit!” But they’re all scrubs (they know nothing about competitive play, will show up to one event, get destroyed and never come back). Same thing with the GG, SC3 and KOF players in the city. The 3S, T5 (albeit very few) and SSBM players are the only ones who seemed to be in it for the long run.
If they’d show up, I’d love to see it but I’m tired of constantly telling these people about the events with barely even an acknowledgment and having to drag them the rare times they agree to go.
Well xvsf has a shit load of infinits so its not for you lol.
But mvc2 is more about resets rather than infinites, check the game out,. I’ll play any one there in any vs game. an any sf jst not mming in sf games

Hosting a tournament is no problem its a matter of there being interest here. Theres a few but not many want to compete in it. I’d like to compete though so I’ll be in for sure.

Damn yo, GO SHANE! All those people NOT empty jumping. Awesome, I hate that in 3rd strike , jump, do nothing, parry is such a good strategy.
Jim Kim (Dudley on Team Diversity) is definitely the one who uses empty jumps the most. He sure loves them a lot.
