actually last time at the lan we had about 12 ppl playing marvel and only about 3 players who could competently play sf4 AE. Mainly me and I guess ill say amir… maybe yannik is good but he never played so I have no idea of his skill level.
Im going to toryuken. no offence to the university people but even if I was around I would not attend. Local windsor events at the U and/or the college have hardly ever been something you would go out of your way for.

I was going to say the same as ryan only a bit more crass. Janko…when did u ever in your entire time playing sf legitly expect to place top whatever? Even “top players” attend on the regular without ever placing. Its more about being social then anything. Something that took me farrrrrrrrrr too long to realize.
Also Injustice is good offline. Online i’d rather play mk. Lot of depth to that game. The trash online will be its long term downfall.
Honest opinion of Injustice: It does feel a bit like MK, but different enough and I like it. It feels like a more ‘honest’ game. Canned mixups are generally pretty weak and you get most of your openings baiting whiffs or frame trapping. Throws are awful so blocking is really powerful, but the stage interactables are all unblockable to balance it out a bit (and some of them need to be toned down imo).
I agree with Injustice’s online being trash, but I’m not sure it will kill it. Marvel probably has the worst online of every modern fighting game and it’s still the most popular. I don’t really understand how Injustice has such bad online though when MK9 was pretty decent online.

First of all Joe and I’m not being disrespectful in any way but I wanted to let some frustration out before we become friends again.
First Joe we need to understand each other in this community more than we did before. I have some problems communicating with people so I vent my frustrations in a different ways. One is to argue and fight. I should understand how other people are feeling so I would like to work on that. You guys need to understand that everybody is different and we can’t be like each other. We have the same interests and everything but we need to understand each other more and work together as a team. Not individually all the time. This is my suggestion:
If we are having problems deciding who is better in Windsor and the FSW community, let’s have a MONTHLY not WEEKLY tournament to decide who is good for that month. The person who gets first place can have bragging rights plus the money for the month. We can set up a place which if you guys are respectful we can have it at my place or at Joe’s or Janko’s or wherever as long we get in some practice and good fighting fundamentals. We can continue this tradition but everybody has plans and such so we need to think this through before we can lift this idea off the ground. This is my idea. I don’t know really how you guys feel about it so you can make your own comments about this if you like.
Second, I’m probably paraphrasing my words again in the first point but we need to learn from each other and not compete against each other. I like to travel with you guys to London or Toronto sometime but we need to be a strong community with each other before we can challenge other communities. Not fighting with each other. There are plenty of great players out there we can beat so we should give them a shout and let’s test our skills. That’s all I’m asking.
Third, I love to play online now. I can’t find the time to play offline because I’m going to school and working. I’m becoming a teacher in a couple of years and I’ve been working steady so I don’t have alot of time to myself anymore. School is my no.1 priority now and I’ve been getting straight A’s. Teaching is my goal. I’ve been banned a week last year but I didn’t have the time to come back on the forum because I was totally busy and I wanted to get a little maturer now. Well I hope at least. LOL
So If don’t have time to come to somebody’s house to play especially with my busy schedule, I’m asking if you or anybody on here wants to play me online on PS3 soon on 360, play me. You know my gamer tags by now. If not, ask Ray if he knows. Just like you guys say, “Who cares it’s online?!?” Just have fun with it and play. If there is lag, who cares? That’s what online is for. It’s not a tournament everybody, it’s casual play. Have fun and just play. I played people from Japan, Germany, USA, Australia, Canada, France and all over the world and it’s good to learn how other people play besides our community all the time. We need to broaden our perspective more and not just play locally all the time. After all this game is for “WORLD WARRIORS” NOT “LOCAL WARRIORS” LOL. Just play online and have fun, that’s what I wanted all along if I don’t have the time to come over and play offline. If we are practicing for a major tournament, then I’ll try my best to come over and play offline. Casuals? Play online. I hope that’s cool with you and everybody here? I hope my wish comes true. LOL
So Joe, this is what I wanted to vent out after 5 months of now not being here. Wow that’s the longest so far I’ve been away from here. Anyways, I like to be a part of FSW community again and I want to start fresh. Understand me and I’ll understand you. I hope you know what I’ve been talking about. BTW. P.S: I have Injustice for PS3, Dead or Alive 5, Soul Calibur 5, King of Fighters XIII, Playstation All Stars Battle Royal and Tekken Tag Tournament 2 all on PS3.
