Bryan the game is not even the same on the internet let alone your connection which is always bogged down in some manner. Things that would normally work become slow and links that are paramount to success become near impossible to do consistently thus making them worse than dan. Nobody cares what somebody does on the internet. name one person who plays exclusively online that commands the respect you crave more then you really should. If you truthfully can name one person that will force me to go “yes bryan you are right” I will owe you 20 right there my word. [/FONT]

How’s everyone been enjoying VF5 - Final Showdown, for the ones who have it?
Weird. Everyone is weird.:S
When I heard news of VF5FS coming I started practicing again and haven’t spent any time playing other FGs. I use to play Tekken with Xiaoyu and SC with Xianghua, which is a departure from using Aoi in VF. With the former two being quick characters, I think I still have a bit of premature execution syndrome (which sounds like something else entirely). It just messes us the pacing in VF. You can certainly win by mashing, but who wants to win without a little flair?
FS is great, a big leap from vanilla VF5. Some say it plays slower, but I haven’t really noticed. More people on XBL I think, but so far the online experience has been good. You can choose to decline if the connection seems bad, but I’ve fought with some players with full bars who have lagged like crazy. Probably bad ping. Anywho, I’ve heard that the it’s better on XBL but who knows. I can’t complain. If you ever want to play, I’m always looking for a good match. PSN: erythrii

PSN is still good in some ways Joshua Esposito. I have to get VF5 soon on my PS3. I’m saving up for a new PS3 soon and I will be getting a new account on there. I hope the PS4 is going to be backwards compatible. Also the 720 too. I can’t wait till next year. I’m playing more SFXT too and I’m getting better at it. Play me somtime on there everybody. You will love it. See ya fools.

Hey, this is a question to anyone who is interested.
A friend and I are going to ConBravo this July 27th for the weekend, have a room booked for 4 people, and are wondering if there’s anyone who’d like to join us.
Those wondering what is ConBravo? It is an anime, gaming, card gaming, and comics convention at Burlington, Ontario. It spans 3 days (Friday to Sunday), filled with many events, panels, activities and many more. If you are a fan of any of these things, including fighting games, you’ll most definitely have a lot of fun here.

Now, as for costs, since it has to be addressed right away, here’s what our estimates are at:
Costs for entry: $30-55 (less if you pay before July 1st online for pre-registration)
Hotel Split: roughly $75 (we are splitting the room, obviously. XD)
As for transportation, that’s still a mystery since we are unsure if we are going to be using Greyhound (roughly $110 for round trip), or getting a ride.

Entry for full weekend pass is $30 at the door. Though they allow people to buy separate day passes if they like.
Keep in mind that all the fighting game tournaments all have $5 entry fees, too.
It’d be sweet if we all went and represented Windsor in a new and more positive light. Especially on stream. And knowing anime cons, we should most likely be able to AT LEAST make it past the first 3 rounds. (A lot of bad players register to these sort of things and always get bodied quick, but some baddies get paired up with baddies, so a couple of them still keep going up and up till around Round 3 or 4 before they’re all weeded out.)

We do have a tournament-only ticket that’ll be available for $10. Being that some folks want to compete and don’t have an interest in our other content, we felt it was prudent to offer this option. Tournaments are still $5 per pay-in, but the door ticket is reduced to $10.

Saito I checked out Conbravo and it’s a pretty awesome convention and I would really love to meet the AVGN Nerd but I won’t be able to make it. I’m going to the Sci-Fi/Anime Con in Toronto at the end of August. I want to meet Patrick Steward because he is in the game Castlevania: Lords of Shadow and I’m having him sign it. I’m taking a week long vacation just to go there and have a awesome time. Niagra Falls is going to be a blast too. Sorry, I won’t be able to come. Have fun though.
