I’ve never played either of those games, and neither of them look particularly interesting to me. I’m only going to the LAN to play in the League of Legends tournament as well as the Smash Bros. Melee tournament, other than that I’m just going to be playing casuals for AE.

RMa, there are no arcades in Windsor anymore. They used to have Fast Eddies Arcade on Riverside and Ouelette but they closed that down about 10 years ago I think. The only way you can play fighting games with other people (besides us) is online. Sorry dude, nothing here. Windsor is garbage for that kind of stuff. They might have some arcade games at Silver City and Cineplex Odeon but that’s it. That’s all I can think of. Sorry.

Janko your not going to enter the AE tournament there ? why not ? also about meeting up I could bring along my ps3 if I have a ride, don’t feel like carrying a system on a bus. I have a ps3 I am sure RMA would let you use his stick for casuals.
@UJ: I haven’t touched AE for a long time, let alone actually practice. I wouldn’t expect much.
@Ray: There’s no AE tournament at the LAN unfortunately. I don’t think there was enough demand for there to be a tournament. As far as I know, they’re just going to have AE open on a casual console station or something like that. If not, I’ll be there with my computer so we can play AE on there if we can’t play on their consoles. For casuals, if you guys set something up and will be playing AE I’ll more than likely show up assuming I’m not at work, so just post when you’re doing casuals on here and I’ll come out if possible.
Smash Bros. Melee sigh. I shoulda known right then and there not to ask that alone speaks volumes about the T.O for this event and I shoulda remembered how big of morons the T.O’s are there considering I have been there before lol. It’s a smart decision. There are like five people who play Marvel or AE in Windsor, while there are tons of people who would participate in a Smash tournament. In any case, if there are enough people there who play Marvel or AE, we could just run our own side tournament if there’s any interest for it. It’s not like we’ve never ran our own tournaments in Windsor.

Considering there were around 20 people at the now closed VG Xtreme for Brawl, of all things. (I personally liked it, but can see why competitive Smash players hated it) It makes sense that there’d be a much larger turn out for Melee than any of the usual known major fighters. We can all count the amount of SF/MvC/etc players in this city with our two hands and probably have a finger or two left.
If I have time and no tests or stuff is in the way, I might stop by for this event. I might even bring along an old friend of the Windsor fight-game scene.
