If you can’t tell the difference between this one and the old one, don’t lose sleep over it
EDIT: Damdai, I’m trying to work out the 25c thing, I’m gonna meet with the arcade owner sometime this week to get this situation down pat. I know how you feel, if anything I’d like the machines to be on freeplay!
i have a person for the 6 on 6 already if we need another. i want to pick this team not just have anyone from philly who wants in. I’d rather have 5 on 5. As for the start time as soon as we are all there i think we can start i cannot get there until 2:30 or 3 since i have work the night before and i need sleep. So as for the start im good with 3:30 but i will not give you a start time until everyone is notified of the start time.
If you have someone else for the 6th spot, I would very much appreciate a 6v6 (if everyone from ny shows up, otherwise ill just take one of their spots, which shouldve been mine already!). I’ll also be bringing a vid cam.

sa for the 2nd character thing i guess i can budge on that old characters do technically count as different characters. so you can go og ken and N.ken. the other person that id choose if he can make it is mike turner or cent.
Remember im not trying to prevent people from entering the 5 on 5. but we cannot allow this to spiral out of control. Nohoho contacted me for the purpose of having a 3 on 3 philly vs nyc, does this make me the captain of team philly and himself the captain of team NYC…? im guessing so. He named jms, julien and myself as team philly and himself, justin and Death S. as team NY. i asked to add Spence then he suggested 5 on 5. we cant go 6 other wise its a tourney in itself. I do not want this ruined by having everyone and their grandmother on the teams, it will be severely diluted.
Here’s my concern. I rarely leave my house to play ST, but when I do, I want to play, not just spectate, especially if I’m driving 2 hours. The way this seems to be going from casual to serious, it means anyone who’s not in the 5v5 won’t be able to play much between the time the 5v5 starts and the actual tournament ends, which will probably span from 3-8 given the amount of time it took to complete the ST tourney last time with only 11 or so people. And for someone like me who only wants to play ST, I will have nothing else to do.
This 5 on 5 should not take more than 10-15 minutes IF it is played by the standard elimination rules. But somehow it is snowballing into this huge double elimination game which will take more than twice as long. My main concern is the MAIN tourney being pushed back so far that it may not end at a respectable hour. I cant stay past 10 pm. the last tourney lasted only about 2 hours for 12 people. if the number is doubled it should take upwards of 5 hours.
Wait. 30 minutes between melty and the next tourny? >___> I predict over 30 signups for Melty. It’s goonna take awhile. AH so much chaos. Hope things work out. Btw, I’ve decided I’m coming dressed as a ninja.
CvS2 is a confirmed tournament, it’ll be put into the Marvel cab with Japanese controls. I’m gonna try and meet with the owner today to work out everything so I can get all the information down and relayed to everyone who’s coming.
