I heard a rumor from a respectable source that HDRemix would not be at evo next year. Will SF2 in any form be at Evo 2011?

My guess is your source might not be all that respectable.
If the game with the 2nd highest sign-ups, as well as the most iconic fighting game of all time, doesn’t return to Evo…I’ll…well, I don’t know what I’ll do, but it won’t be good for humanity. I can promise you that!
It would be amazing if the original sf2 returned for the 25 years anniversary of SF as the main event (clearly on CRT, non lcd). 
Someday, there’ll be an Evo without SF2, but don’t count on it any time soon, I’d say.
