Will Madcatz allow me to purchase new artwork?

So recently I purchased a Chin-Li TE stick which I’m now starting to regret. These things pick up dust like no tommorow (the grooves in the art make it almost impossible to clean) and scratch up really easilly. I’m wondering if Madcatz would allow someone to purchase new artwork, because for the price you pay, it’s a nightmare trying to keep these things clean and scratch free. If not, I can live with it, but if Madcatz were to offer something like that, it would great to know because I’d certainly take up that option.

why not just put a piece of plexi on it. thats what im going to do with my chun stick

Get Plexi

Welcome to Art’s Hobbies

Is it even possible to get plexi that thin? The artwork is like super thin, at the most 1mm. I kind of like the artwork that was on it, it would just be nice to have another piece of artwork there so I can trash this one without feeling crappy about spending £150 on something that’s getting ruined in a matter of weeks.

If plexi won’t work, how about Saran Wrap?

Im going to put plexiglass on top of the chun li art work. I wasnt going to replace the artwork. the artwork is one of the reasons i really like the stick

And new artwork.

How would that work? The plexi wouldn’t even sink into the bezel, also wouldn’t you have to get screw ins?

d3v that artwork is sick! Do you do request art?

Of course.

Is the TE-S Chun-Li art the same size as a standard TE?

I think he does. I pm’d him before about doing some and he didnt respond. so maybe he doesnt? or maybe only for certain people? I ended up paying someone 20 dollars who just disappeared on me after awhile. don’t think i’ll ever use that artwork…

EDIT - Guess he does! You guys posted before I could get mine in. oooops

wow D3V Loving the blazblue work  I’ll be in touch as soon as I get paid

the plexi will be a bit above the bezel but im ok with that. You can easily unscrew ur te and remove the buttons then put the plexi on. its really simple

Yes.

If you want some plexi then let me know as I have some in stock (all sizes, 2mm thick & laser cut). But I’m not sure you’ll like the result from what you’ve been posting recently. Might be happier with some vinyl printed art to replace the stock art.

I’m pretty skint right now so can’t really afford any art work. Out of interest though, how much would you be looking at printed vinyl and who does it?

The twins do it - custom artwork and printing.

Or you could just find some artwork you like and take it to a decent printer shop.

No, your not allowed.

LOL at paying some dude to throw together a hot mess in PS.
