Will Evil Ryu be banned (cant mention Oni yet since it’s not “official”) if DLC hits before evo? personally the last thing i want to see is everyone picking evil ryu and IMO he’s broken with the recharging health crap
Capcom has not made a bann worthy playable character yet for the Street fighter 4 series so I dont think so…
Even assuming that Evo uses AE…you could count on your fingers the number of top players who’ve played AE a lot that seriously claim Evil Ryu or Oni is broken. In fact, you could lose all your fingers in some kind of tragic forum-posting accident, and still have enough fingers to count these people.

Not saying you’re wrong but Evo staff hasn’t technically made an official ruling on it. They said it would depend on the release date.
They said they would use AE if it was release 1 month before EVO. June 24 (or was it 26?) is within that time limit so it’s most likely going to be AE for EVO.
It was stated in a podcast that June 1st was the cutoff date for all updates and DLC used for the games in the tournament. I’m not feeling putting all my eggs into MK so I’m waiting to see what Evo staff will have to say about it in the future.
Wiz said that if it came out a week later than the 1st we could talk about it.
The 26th is too late for that, but that is the UK release, maybe the US will get a different date.
