i think the link match is people challenging you from the other side of the machine lol. i dont know much about comp in tokyo but go to yokohama pasopiard and youll find all the comp you need or come to yokosuka and challenge me, i might give you a little comp :wgrin:
LoL yeah man I only figured it out today that sometimes when they have, for example, 7 machines (on each side) they can all be linked up so that you don’t necessarily have to play the guy sitting right in front of you on the other side! Pretty cool system if you ask me, since you don’t have to leave your machine (if you win) and it would still match you up with someone else from the other side! Awesome!
Also I got my ass handed to me by players in Club Sega Akihabara and Hey Akihabara a few hours ago, so I am happy for now lool :-D. I’m not the most amazing players but I always like playing against better players; it’s just more fun and educating :-D.
I wish I could register my name to the card as well.
About half the time you get players that aren’t really that good, but that have high BP, and the other half you get legitimately good players. I used to go in expecting group 1, and getting hosed. Now I go in expecting group 2 and do quite a bit better.
Although, it’s not really worth it, IMO, to go to Akiba and play. Plenty of 50 yen per play arcades elsewhere with better comp.
aw man sorry I missed this, you were came to Japan? I haven’t been on these forums in a few months or so, but I could have helped you out esp for some of the older games anyway. Sorry I didn’t get to see you this time.
