There were 2 dif versions of All-stars IIRC. The first one when it first came out was just 1-3…then there was the version that came in a SNES bundle that included World on the cart as well. does quick wiki search yup…says in the first paragraph.
looks like the beastly reign of pokemon might be over at least for awhile. God Eater Burst took top spot followed right after by Winning Eleven (PS3) and Super Mario Collection. Golden Sun made it to half way in the top 10. Kirby is still doing pretty well and Fable III made bottom top 10. Vanquish (PS3) and KH seem to be steadily lowering off.
Holy hell…PSP Go actually managed to top 2 systems!? Hardware went PSP, DSi LL, PS3, DSi, Wii, Lite, Go, 360 and Go.
wow…HVS really cares don’t they? They actually got the go ahead to add patches for the online for the hackers, headset compatability and adding in support for cc. Someone should tell them to add in that lean function that Goldeneye has.
Though I’ve had a wii and pretty much know whats out, these are the games I plan on getting:
No More Heroes
No More Heroes II
Punch Out Wii
Super Paper Mario (easily my favorite Wii title, same with my girlfriends)
Mario Galaxy
Mario Galaxy II
Murasama The Demon Blade
Twilight Princess
Dragon Quest Swords (it’s so bad but its so fun lol)
Resident Evil Darkside Chronicles (I hate Resident Evil but its for the girlfriend.)
Kirby’s Epic Yarn (the only game I have ever wanted to hug. Its so fucking adorable)
Anything else I should look for that might have gone under my radar?
Donkey Kong Country Returns is going to be great. Even though it won’t be as special as DKC or DKC 2, I’m sure it’ll still be a lot of fun. Can’t wait for that to finally come out. That new trailer just has me even more excited.
New Super Mario Bros. Wii is good if you haven’t played that yet. NBA Jam is fun if you used to play the old versions back in the day since it plays a lot like those games did. Metroid: Other M, Okami and Zack & Wiki are some others worth mentioning that you might enjoy if you haven’t tried those yet either.
Getting NBA Jam for PS3
Hate Metroid
MAYBE on Okami. Never found it that interesting. But if I can pick it up for cheap I’d get it.
Didn’t like Zack and Wiki.
^ IIRC from reading previous posts of yours…you’re not exactly a fan of FPS right? If you don’t mind rail shooters though I’d pick up House of the Dead: Overkill.
and yeah…if you own an HD system getting NBA Jam on that system is a better deal.
I’m very picky about the FPS’ I play, but in general I don’t like them. I prefer 3rd Person Shooters.
And yeah, my main system is a PS3 which is why I’m getting NBA Jam for that instead.
It’s all opinions…both sides on the issue honestly need to squash it lol. Okami has its things that make it unique and good in it’s own way but for some people something that’s ‘like Zelda’ doesn’t exactly do it enough for them.
I liked Twilight Princess. Sure it was easy, but it was the first motion based game for the Wii so of coarse everything in it is going to be lax. I still enjoyed it though. Besides, all that I’ve seen from Okami it looks like a game I wouldn’t like. I’m not going to buy a game I don’t think looks good. That’s stupid.
And that’s pretty much what EVERYONE thinks and why it sold 3 copies, and then only accidentally. Take it from me. You don’t know me and have no reason to trust me, but I have no reason to lie about this as I hold no shares in Capcom or whatever.
Okami is one of the best games of all time. I know my shit.
It’s right up there with CT, SOTC and OOT, the latter I believe is an inferior game to Okami.
It’s simply not possible to enjoy Twilight Princess and then not, at the very least, like Okami.
Better story (did TP even have a story?), more likeable characters, more fun combat, better implementation of the Wii control scheme, it’s actually funny, beautiful presentation and some of the most beautiful music in a videogame.
It DOES have it’s flaws, and a lot of them are technical issues such as motion recognition or shape recognition, but you’ll fall too deeply in love with the game to care. I guarantee it.
