I resumed my Cave Story playthrough a day or two ago. I started on the hardest difficulty level, and not disappointed by the difficulty level. You basically can’t afford to get hit in most cases. It’s instant death. But I’m posting here because guys at gamefaqs have been talking (damn near crying) about a patch. I don’t post at gamefaqs (just lurk), which is why I didn’t ask there. What the heck is supposed to be patched here? What needs to be patched?
The gap between Normal and Hard is too big. “Hard” should be like Normal, but with harder enemies (hit harder, act like bigger assholes, or both) and a bigger, but not one-hit thread to your life. The current Hard should be like a whole new difficulty, like Insane or something.
The experience drops “bling” waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too loud.
Dr. B will continue this when he feels like, which is never. Me, I have to get back to this god damn script. Damn it.
I think something is fucked up with the audio or the music if I remember correctly.

Wii Party came out last Sunday. I’m personally not that interested but maybe one of you are. Reviews so far have been pretty meh. I’m a bit surprised that Gamespot actually is among the highest.
I’m not going to pick up NBA Jam on day 1 like I thought I was going too since I don’t know exactly what EA has planned for the release of it on the other consoles. I’d feel silly if they actually released NBA Jam on 360/PS3 if it came with everything the Wii version does plus online.

Pokemon is stomping on records over there…over 3 million already? Yakuza for the PSP came out and Pokemon sold over it by about 5-6 times over.
Hardware went DSi, PSP, DSi LL, PS3, Wii, Lite, 360, PS2, and Go. PSP saw a boost probably from yakuza but it didn’t seem to effect Go at all.

this commentary is like 19 minutes long…Team Meat does talk about the game but they are also being ‘silly’… So to sum some of the stuff in the video. When you rescue bandaid girl, Dr. Fetus will come out and assault her…He actually SPD’d her at the end of one of the levels. You won’t have to complete all the levels to get to the boss but you will have to complete a set number. Stages will also have dark versions which will feature way more death traps. There will also be warp zones where you’ll have a limited number of lives to get through the courses and everthing is uh…more old school than it already is.

So NBA Jam on the PS3 and 360 is only lacking a mode called Remix tour? Cause if that?s the case I might have to go for the better online multiplayer unless more stuff is being left out.

Actually more than likely the 360/PS3 versions may probably end up being the game of choice period. Especially if following the wiki to the source kotaku article/interview is any indication. That’s why I put my buying of a copy on this game on hold…and I reccomend others who don’t only have a wiii do the same.

Man I missed playing some NBA Jam, forgot how fun that game is, some of the stats are bullshit in my opinion, LeBron with a 7 on 3 pts. :looney: Man they kept the computer assistance from the old games in full effect, that gets maddening at times :mad:
