I’ve been working my way through Metroid Prime Trilogy since last month. I only really play it on weekends. Right now I’m focusing on starting MP2 since I haven’t played that before Trilogy (the original MP was the only one I did play before then) and I’m done playing through MP the second time.
IGN NHL 2k10 review:
8.0 I find that funny considering that it’s brethren on the other consoles haven’t been recieved so well. In any case if you own a wii motion plus and like hockey than this might be something you’re interested in. If you have one of the other consoles however…Pick up NHL 10 instead. Now if only 2k can do a solid basketball game…

Is anybody on board with FF:CC Crystal Bearers? It won’t be a day one buy for me (I’ve seriously blown way too much money on preorders/systems in the past three months…damn new job) but I’m interested enough to give it a shot. I’ve played the past two ds CC games and I liked them. I’m not to happy about the art style change though (even though I’m sure it was originally intended as a jab at the big N I thought it had a charm, that “insert bishonen clone or bunny girl here” didn’t), but whatever.
Yeah, I’m defintely getting The Crystal Bearers when it comes out. Game looks sick so far.
it’s not gonna be a day 1 purchase for me but I’m probably going to pick it up somewhere down the road. This game is in dangerous territory since it’s comin out right after Christmas. I’m planning to be broke around that time…ya know?

I think I’ve played enough Smash-Up to render a verdict. So here goes.
If you’re a TMNT or Brawl fan then you’ll find something to like here. Unlike Brawl, all the control schemes are very viable for use. So no matter what you pick you’ll be good. I personally like the GC Controller and the Wiimote. I don’t have a classic controller but I’d bet it controls well. Having previously played Brawl will give you a leg up but there are things that you still need to learn about. The only problem with that is the tutorial comes in form of a video. They could’ve whipped up something for an interactive tutorial. You should still watch the video because it’s very informative in learning what’s borrowed from Brawl and new in Smash-Up. My only other gripe is the character selection. While everyone feels diverse I think a tad more care could’ve went in to it. But there’s the sequel that you know is coming so hopefully they can build upon this game and open it up even further.
I’m very satisfied with the final product but I would suggest trying before buying to see if this is a purchase you want to make.

I don’t know if this is going on at other store’s but Little King’s Story dropped in price at GS for 29.99 new. If money was the reason you haven’t picked up this title then maybe now you might want to consider it.

I would just like to see an upgraded system that plays the same games. Something capable of putting out what the Wii emulator can put out. Look at this thread and these shots.
The games are capable of a lot, the system holds the quality back.
2011ish sounds about right…I think that’s what most people who’ve been following the industry for awhile are pretty much expecting a new system from them.
And I don’t know Geese…It’s all going to be depending completely upon if third parties are truly going to stop being lazy and coming up with better ideas for the system besides lazy ass party games…of course this excludes High Voltage, Ubisoft, Capcom (when they aren’t doing a Wii-make), Grasshopper manufacture, Platinum and a couple of other companies. We’re definitely seeing some of that creative originality in the good Wii Ware titles…especially the ones that aren’t out yet but I’m curious to how far they are going to back it especially with Sony completely encroaching into their territory (I’m still sold on Natal) by the end of nest year. Nintendo is going to have to really keep the heat coming because starting out next year they’ve got some really good heavy hitters coming out and I don’t think anybody is expecting Zelda to be released next year. They have the casual crowd and they’re trying to bring their hardcore crowd back…I want to know what steps are being made to do this.
If they’re able to get a good grip on both the casual and the hardcore despite Sony and Microsoft’s motion controllers then maybe they can put it off for another year and make it 2012ish but I don’t see it going any further than that. Thinking about it now even…if they’re going to attempt to make a console that’s on par with PS3 and 360 then that’s still sort of going to be setting them behind graphically since within 3-4 after their console comes out the PS4/720 will probably start to show up so that would mean they’d have to come up with some other crazy idea to stir up the industry and hope it succeeds to make their console different. There’s so many factors…we’ll just have to wait and see how things go next year.

7.5 from Matt. Basically no innovations…It is what it is. It’s a straight up beat-em-up. If you like going from room to room busting up enemies old school style then you’ll probably dig this. If you pick it up Rexx make sure to give some impressions.

7.6 Graphics suffer a bit on this version and controlling the camera is uh…yeah. Sounds like it’s still a solid game but if you own one of the other consoles and were interested in this game you may want to go with those versions.

7.6 I downloaded this game onto the Wii at work…I’ll probably get a chance to play it myself tomorrow.
I bought You, Me, and the Cubes and so far it’s decent. My mind hasn’t been blown yet. In fact, I think I’ve done the first 3 or 4 blocks of the first level, and they all seemed to be the same thing. Weird and disappointing. Anyway, I’d like to feel the need to put more thought into what I’m doing. Right now, I just point at a few spots on the cubes where I THINK balance may be fairly maintained, and fling away. I’m never really certain, but I seem to do well enough that I advance. I can’t say I’m feeling “8.5” about it, but maybe things pick up a great deal.
If you think it’s at least solid I’ll add it to the front.
