Magic spells do environmental damage. You can drop the fucking ceiling on someone with a huge explosion. I reiterate: this game looks so damn good. And this game is fully real time combat. None of that scripted crap people were worried about when they said attacks are “automatic”. It’s just like an MMO or FFXII in that respect.
NOA still hasn’t said anything on whether this Or Xenoblade will be making it’s way over here. We’d like to think it’d be a no brainer but eh… I’d like to think that MAYBE they’d make some type of announcement as an aside on the 3DS event happening Jan 19 but I’m not going to hold my breath on it.
So far looking at the release list I have here, Wii’s first half of 2011 looks a bit bare in terms of possible great exclusives and then there’s the also the current LOZ wildcard which may or may not show up in the first half. They are also lacking some 3rd party support again which is kinda saddening since 2010 was great. Hopefully we’ll get a better idea of what Nintendo is planning to do come Jan besides rape the handheld front.
In other news SMG2 was the most pirated title on the consoles. I’m not as surprised about that so much that there was actually a surprising amount of people that pirated Wii Party. Seriously guys?
Now normally I’m right there with ya on no hyping without US confirmation (due to many Tales games), but…this game I’ll take the risk. It deserves hype. It looks that good.
I’ll kill somebody, no, EVERYBODY at Nintendo if The Last Story isn’t released here.
Sonic Colors truly is the redeemer…I got it for Christmas, and I love it. It’s really, REALLY good. Music (Planet Wisp and Aquatic Park specifically) is godlike.
I’m just curious… what would you do to Reggie? I think I got a few bricks for that mofo’s head I could send you.
Speaking of Sonic Colors, the soundtrack is already on the net. Check the VGM thread for a link.
So I finally got another Wii Remote. Looks like Wii Motion Plus built in is now the standard Wiimote. Only problem is, is that Wii Motion Plus built in remotes don’t seem to work with my energizer charger, something I bought to negate the need for buying batteries. Now I gotta buy 'em again. Thanks, Nintendo. Thanks for effing that one thing up.
I really think the Wii had a great year in 2010. I personally don’t like the first Sin and Punishment game because I can’t get used to the controls. The second one plays a lot better than the first, I just wish it sold better so a sequel could be guaranteed. It really sucks that you can’t demo virtual console games; Because, if I had demo’d S&P1 I wouldn’t have bought it.
