I actually like the analog movement. The d-pad would definitely fuck up all your movement. And I think blocking only happens when you hit L1 upon contact. Like, you can’t hold it forever.
Either way, I got used to the analog controls and enjoyed it. And I really wouldn’t say that Slow Battle is broken or anything. If anything, Hayami is broken. You can spam Shotgun punches over and over again when they’re in the corner(which is an even worse scenario).
My beef with the game was the hit boxes. Some stuff just won’t connect, but when the CPU does it, it’s an instant KO. Just fighting Jason Ozuma was a pain the ass. He always blocked high and it was just an impenetrable defense, but he WAS open to body blows.
Oh, and Ricardo was hella broken. One punch = GGPO. And so was the bear.
Oh god…don’t remind me. My punkass kept getting peaced out by Oda on normal difficulty, I lost the most to him out of any other character, followed by Ozuma. After getting past those two assholes I only had two losses the rest of the entire story mode(to Jimmy Sisfa and Ricardo Martinez in the extra mode) -_-.
