Motherfucken 64
I always thought this was noticed/a joke everywhere. It’s just that 69, especially when a lot of us were playing 10+ years ago (teens), was THE coolest number. So of course you notice when it stops on that.
you were a teen 10+ years ago? c.c;
The only thing I really notice as far as ticks and such would have to be me drumming along to Ken’s super among others. As far as the timer thing goes, I’ve always noticed a lot of 72s. I honestly just think it depends a lot on a persons play style/character. For example, if you rush down with let’s say, Akuma? You lose fast or you win fast (for the most part.)
i scratch my head because its itchy and i dont notice it until the match is over

anything less than 69 means more training required
After visiting the vids thread I decided to watch Sekido fight KO…and low and behold…(the second match)

Its a good example of how it happens too…usually twice in a match.
In GG its like 77 seconds or something. Its wierd.
Whenever I get perfects with dudley it is always at 89 seconds.
Looking away from the screen at the end of a round isn’t any kind of coincidence. My eyes start to hurt from staring so hard at it after a while, I have to look somewhere else. In fact, sometimes I look away during the match, even for a split second, and I get owned.
wow that’s kinda creepy
mine end at 89 when im against scrubs, but yeah, high 60 low 70 for the most part
The 69 second thing has been around since SF2.
its like the number 23…you look for it youll find it lol
Not me, I straight up lift 50 lb. dumbbells in between rounds
I have no recorded data on this, but from observation, I believe 30 seconds is the average (mean and mode) time for a round. So, if you’re one hit or likely situational combo away from death and the time reads roughly “70”, runaway (unless that’s the move your opponent suspects). Do you think “fate” exists? That everything is predetermined? 3s will answer this question for you. Fight for the future!
