I’m actually saving up first for a Cthulu and Imp board. I’d rather get that done first than my art, because with as fickle as my moods are I could change my mind 100 times about which templates to use within a day.

You should like, get one of them pictures where you tilt it and you see something different, those holographic deals. They’re hard to describe, and use that as art. Would be pretty funny.
Bomberman on these forums can do the soldering for a price. Better him than somebody who doesn’t even know what a soldering iron looks like (me). Do you know how to solder?
I don’t even know how to make a holographic print, but I actually think it’d be quite bad ass depending on the picture!
I can to some extent, it’s really sloppy though. Better to get someone who can do it and do it right so all you’ll have to do is mount it.

Was I born during the wrong time? Raised in the wrong area? I mean, ever I first met up with Pete and co. I’ve just wanted to play fighting games more and more! Damn should I have started when I was younger! I really want to know what I can do to help rebuild the arcade scene here in Wichita.
Yea man, I really wish we had an arcade too. But honestly, there’s not much we can do about it. I think everyone just goes to PowerPlay when they get the chance. There’s want for one, but honestly, would it float? Cabs are expensive, and if it was owned by some mediocre company, they’d jam it full of more ticket games than a bowling alley.
Back in about 7th or 8th grade, I was heavy into skateboarding, but there wasn’t really any place to do it legally. Board Or Line cost $13 for a two hour session, it was ridiculous. However, as a community, we were able to get the attention of the city and show that we needed places to skateboard, inline and bike without the pressure of cops and the law. This spawned like 3 parks, and everyone was happy.
It kinda makes me wanna try something like that for an arcade. But it wouldn’t work, it’s too expensive.

If I had money, I would take a huge dive and open an arcade. I read an article here on SRK about why arcades fail and why they succeed and it’s all dependent on service. I’d try to make it the coolest place to go for people who loves arcades, but alas, money is the issue

Yeah, I wish Wichita had an arcade. I remember Aladdin’s castle when I lived here awhile ago. I mean, we could always make someones house open to gatherings everyday, but it still wouldn’t be the same =\ But hey, at least we get to meet up on weekends and get games in which is always fun.

I did get wasted, but that was last Saturday lol. Busted both my hands, too. Sorry for not being on in a while, I’m super addicted to Valkryia Chronicles right now and haven’t touched another game since last Friday…

Updated the blog on Tsubaki Yayoi. Apparently she’s the new I-No from GGXX. This weekend there’ll be a loketest in Akiba, so hopefully come Monday next week some vids will be out showing what she’s capable of.
