It’s basically a modified ps3 board. I can’t remember off the top of my head exactly how a TE stick is wired up but if it’s done like any stick is done logically, then all you should need to do is take the connections that run from the TE board to the buttons and stick etc., and solder those to the appropriate positions on the Chimp board. Like A on the TE board would go to X on the Chimp, RB to R1 etc. I’m sure it should work pretty well for you.
The reason I would use this over the cthulhu is it doesn’t need a switch to determine which console you’re plugged into, this does it automatically.
Also you guys talking about nerves, I’ve never entered a tournament where I haven’t felt nervous. Haha.
real quick before i go to bed, bryan perfected me with dan, lol. i dont think i got a single win on your seth either lol. bryan’s got some tricks for sure…coulda done well at the hastings tourney.
and i doubt we’ll have any more actual tourneys in wichita (it’d be the shit if we did) but before i even think of blowing a day/gas money going to dallas i need to level up.
gg’s brian and gl to death and zach, hope you guys wreck shop down there.
So far as it stands, we can stay at the house of goons if they are housing and there aren’t going to be a crap load of people there…
Or we can get a Hotel. I prefer getting a hotel but I dont know whats near… Ill have to check. Have any ideas??
Also, do you have any idea what time we will be leaving and what day??
The goons are housing, but it’s going to be packed. Personally I don’t mind sleeping under a kitchen table and showering with a water hose as long as it’s free (exaggeration of course). We can try just gaming there for the night until it’s getting close to sleep time and if it’s really bad we can try finding a hotel then. Any hotels near the venue might be checked out because quakecon is a pretty big event.
Also me and you are going in a seperate car from the evers. They already have a place in mind to stay for the weekend. I guess we could technically all travel in one car. All they would have to do is drop us off at the goon house since I think they’re going to go there anyway. I might talk to Link about that.
Hey, change of plans… turns out my friend isnt going to the tourney after all… So im going to need a ride back now. Lol
So yeah I wont mind staying in a hotel we can all split it or whatever… I definitely want to get some games in at the house of goons tho.
So what day are we planning on leaving??
Is there any intrest in local get togethers…?
A while back it was discussed but it seemed to die out after the hastings tourney… after this weekends events maybe we can start getting some concrete plans thrown together and have some solid plans for next month…
Hell idk I’m just trying to get some games with people who are better than me offline because I’m real tired of xbl ranked matches vs ken and guile
I’ve been wondering too, but yeah, I can’t exactly host games here, while I do have my own pad, I’ll tell you it is reaaally hard to concentrate on a match when you have a 3 year old begging you to watch Dora for the entirety of a session lol. If nothing else, while I may not be be “better” than you, I can make you tired of Dudley matches on xbl, lol.
yo, i’d still love local get togethers i just already had stuff planned these past two weeks. right now i’m working on getting my saturdays off so i can host but it may be a few more weeks.
Yeah… We are trying to get things set for sometime next weekend or so…
We just got caught up with the tourney last saturday and another one this Saturday…
We will definitely try to figure something out for this week.

so I won’t be able to do much this week since i’m working every day this week. Unless you guys want to get together this sunday that’s pretty much the only day that’s open to me this week.
TX Bar Fights August 28th! Check the Southwest Tournament and Events Page!
Just to clarify–if we have enough time for 2v2 after singles (and we should have plenty!), it will be $10 per team ($5 per each player) to go straight into the pot.
We had a ton of positive response for previous tournaments and this one so we are pretty excited!
I would go but there is going to be a lot going on here this weekend. Plus I still need to organize the scene here, really shouldn’t be traveling until I manage to get everyone happy here.
So an update on that. Sorry guys but it will be a little longer till I’m able to host. My boss still hasn’t gotten with me on the saturdays, right now the schedule is kind of in flux because me and another worker started school, plus both of my boss’s cars are broken down. I just need more time with the work situation.
This weekend in particular is my dad’s 50th, among other things. I really want to get things going but it’s just not happening yet, I kind of feel like when the months over and I’m used to my new schedule and things are a little calmer with school in session I’ll be able to make something happen.
